<irrelevantbutrelevant> … and yet people have a reason to believe that Google Maps won't ever be allowed on CarPlay! </irrelevantbutrelevant>
As long as the watch is running the latest version of Android Wear, it will work.I mean it clearly says only the Urbane works right now so... how did you get it working?
My friend, you really should stop dissing round watches, because you're gonna look bad when Apple makes one to compete with Android WearWe went through the same silly debate with smaller tablets, larger phones, multitasking, widgets of some sort, notifications, etc. It's getting old.
Not to mention that the 38mm Apple Watch shows less text than the 42mm, so that argument is also bogus.
To answer your question, the top usually shows the sender.

Notice that Android Wear round watches sometimes show MORE text than the Apple rectangular face, because its reply menus are on another page.
A lot of people not realizing their fanboy is showing today.
I think many would choose less expensive (moto 360) or arguably more stylish (lg urbane) over having actionable notifications. I wouldn't, but I'm very much a gadget guy and wore a plastic Pebble for a year, so the Apple Watch Sport feels like the pinnacle of fashion in comparison.
I think this may hurt Pebble more than Apple Watch though. The less expensive devices like Moto 360 essentially do everything Pebble does on iOS and more (voice search, nicer screen). Pebble pretty much has battery life and that's it.
True, I think the new metal ones coming out look nicer, but they aren't competitively priced. I really liked the watch I had from them, faults and all, and I do still root for them as the little guys. I think if they want to make it then they should look into getting an ultra-affordable device on the market that just focuses on doing a few things well. A decent-looking $99 max eInk smartwatch could fill a niche and is realistic if they just focus on notifications, custom watchfaces, and a pedometer.Very good points. Not to mention the pebble is really showing how outdated it looks. Just a few months ago it still did not look that bad IMO, but now, after the apple watch, it looks 10 years old.

The Pebble Time Steel? I didn't know they had shipped yet. Is the screen a large part of the issue? I feel like color eInk was a bad direction to go as it looks like a gameboy to me. I didn't get that feel from the black and white screen. My brother has the new pebble and it looks like a toy to me.
Pebble time in plastic. Just looks outdated. Good thing is the battery and waterproofing. I have the old pebble. It's ok but I would not buy another one. A watch needs touch screen capabilities. The Pebble Time Steel? I didn't know they had shipped yet. Is the screen a large part of the issue? No. You typically can't reply to notifications with some exceptions for Google services (gmail). Can you reply to iMessages from the watch?
Apple did not want to allow this. However, the Antitrust Regulators watch everyone these days. It's going to be very interesting to see how Apple addresses this. Could hurt AW sales quite a bit if allowed to continue.![]()
You could but it isn't supported on iOS. Only the latest LG watch and all of the watches getting ready to be announced are supported.

care to back that up with how you came to that conclusion?*sighs* there are not more styles of android wear watches then apple watches. do some research bruh.
Because they're often like half the price of an Apple Watch?
are you not the same person who goes to all android sites and troll? lol get a life dude. you are a disease to Apple community
