Goes against the whole "Android phones are about choice."

With an iPhone, I haven't limited myself to only choosing phones running Android. And now, I get a much wider selection of smartwatches to choose from. Lovely. :)
are you not the same person who goes to all android sites and troll? lol get a life dude. you are a disease to Apple community

That's not actually trolling. It's true. They're in it for your info and money from ads. That's Google's business model.
Apple is in for your money from devices. thats apple business model.
in the end both need your money so there is no good or bad its just business.
if you dont understand that then you must not be that bright

I understand that plenty thanks. My point was that it's not trolling to point out a business model and it's not. Thanks for missing the point though. And yes, there is good or bad depending on where you stand with privacy etc. What's good or bad is subjective in this case. But as I said, pointing out a business model isn't trolling.

Go easy there AppStoreNerd. A disease? Jeez. Bit harsh and untrue. Just someone with a different opinion. Let him express it and don't lower yourself. I'm not sure his statement actually makes any sense anyway.

yeah its a disease. these kind off fanboys are kind of psycho. a normal person would never try to go around and troll.
i love my apple devices and i also love my android.

I almost bought a Moto 360 on a Best Buy deal that would have made it $80 3 months ago. Then saving it for this day. But I couldn't do it because of the pixelated screen. Not horrible but more like a non-retina Ipad mini.

You think Moto 360's display is pixelated?

yeah pointing out is not troll but doing it in a trollish way is troll.

I wish Martian watches got more attention. I think a lot of people would like them. I've been wearing one for a month now and it's exactly what I wanted in a watch: classic looks with discrete notifications and good battery life.

I think most people want more than notifications.

Just paired my Moto 360 to my 6 Plus and so far it's not too bad.
Can't reply to texts, but I never liked doing that anyway, so for me it's not an issue.
I can dismiss calls as well. I'll answer it from my phone if i want to accept a call. Accepting from a watch is pointless.
Native Apple apps work for the most part, email and calendar events can be read from the watch.

I expect more features to be added as the software matures.

It's literally NOT a disease. And we really don't know who or what is behind the comment, or what they're going through in life, so who cares? Save your energy for better things than defending a business buddy.

Calling someone a troll could be said to be trolling too. I get the sense that the posters English isn't great at all so we could easily misconstrue something. Ignore the provocative people if that's how you feel about it. They'll go away. "Don't feed the troll." He may be miffed they're making money from ads but that's his problem. Don't let his issues with that hop onto your back too. Just enjoy your devices and enjoy discussion here with like-minded folk.

Would it be possible for third party app support in the future?

If that can happen, the Android Watches are going to be a serious player in the market. Their prices and designs are far more better than the Apple Watch IMO.

I mean it clearly says only the Urbane works right now so... how did you get it working?

It also says:

"Android Wear for iOS does not officially support existing Android Wear smartwatches such as the Moto 360 or Samsung Gear, but most users find that older models do work after a factory reset."

This is truly great but no 3rd party apps sucks.

Yeah, Google should build in at least the two main third party watchface players, so users would have access to the thousands of user created faces available from places like http://facerepo.com/app/.

This is fantastic news. More options!

I always thought Tim should have made the Apple Watch Android compatible. I'm not sure where Tim is going with the Apple watch, maybe he will announce something soon. Hoping new straps that add functionality.

Why is half that round screen green? Seems like a waste of real estate, unless the longer the message the more real estate it fills up on the screen?

My friend, you really should stop dissing round watches, because you're gonna look bad when Apple makes one to compete with Android Wear :) We went through the same silly debate with smaller tablets, larger phones, multitasking, widgets of some sort, notifications, etc. It's getting old.

Not to mention that the 38mm Apple Watch shows less text than the 42mm, so that argument is also bogus.

However, I do think your constant comments about Android Wear needing smaller versions (for women, for example) are right on the money, and I fully support you on that.

To answer your question, the top usually shows the sender.

Then you can scroll it up (with a flick of your wrist if you wish... two hands not needed):

Notice that Android Wear round watches sometimes show MORE text than the Apple rectangular face, because its reply menus are on another page.
