Received mine today and had it fitted within 10 minutes, it did take a couple of attempts to get it perfect without any dust/bubbles underneath but in the end it was pretty straight forward.

Question: does anyone know what the little chrome ring with adhesive on one side is for?

That's a mystery only sir Godosmith himself knows.

Yeah it's a ring for the camera. I used it for a bit but it was too big I didn't like the look.

I do believe it is a ring to change the look of Touch ID and make it more flush because of the raised screen protector.

**ETA: Looks like that question got answered.

Sad to hear a lot of folks having issues with install. I'm happy with the product still and I ordered it through Amazon so no fishy shipping behavior either for me.

I ordered mine through AliExpress and receive it within two weeks in Australia.

With that being said, I would probably order it through eBay if I had to do it again, although at the time I couldn't find it on there.

It's a protector for the rear camera ring. I put it on and the adhesive collected dust & lint like crazy! It made all of my photos blurry. I had one hell of a time trying to pry it off without scratching the aluminum.

DO NOT PUT IT ON!!

Update regarding the Ice Max 3d and my Ringke Fusion case!

Although they looked amazing together a bubble soon appeared in the upper righthand corner - at which point i read about the less-than-stellar adhesive above and below the screen. I took the phone out of the case and went and got the Apple Silicone case, thinking the raised lip would help keep it down. No such luck - when I woke up this morning the bubble was back with a vengeance.

I'm now debating returning the Apple case, because while I like the colour I prefer the Fusion, and just living with the bubble until I drop my phone and crack the screen protector (at which point I'll get an imos). I like the feel of the Ice Max too much to remove it because of some harmless bubbles.

I was curious to see the color combo so I put the white Ice Max 3D on my space grey 6S+. Didn't work with my Tech21 Classic Check case, but just barely squeezes into the original Apple Leather Case.

I had a few air bubbles after installation but was able to force them out. I love the look and feel of the Ice Max but I do have a little clicking around the top and bottom bezels.

After 2 weeks of use the only issue I see so far is a single speck of dust that has managed to work its way under the SP and into the ambient sensor window.

Mine came quickly (within 2 weeks), and I installed it just now. I got rid of the dust particles that got trapped by lifting the protector up and using the included dust removal sticker on the protector itself. I concur with everyone else that the bubbles are a problem, but can be worked out with a lot of elbow grease and cursing. Fortunately, it looks like my Ringke slim case is compatible.

I purchased mine on Amazon and it arrived very quickly.

I installed the screen protector this afternoon and it took about 5 minutes and the install was perfect!

Everything lined up and no bubbles on the first try. I couldn't be happier.

Prior to this I had a Cinder which I ordered from their 1st batch that they had on Amazon before they stopped selling on there.

While the Cinder was nice quality I had a bubble that would not go away and also a thin bubble line on the screen. No matter what I tried I could not get those issues to go away. Maybe I was just unlucky as they are selling a newer improved Cinder now. It was taking too long to get a replacement Cinder and reading the reviews about the Godosmith I thought I would give it a try.

Having owned both I have to say that these are the two highest quality glass screen protectors I have owned. Once installed the screen protectors literally disappear onto the phone and it doesn't look like you have anything covering the screen. It's really that thin. They both appear identical and I would not be surprised if it was the same company that manufactures them.

I wouldn't hesitate to buy another Godosmith.

One of my GDsmith white 6s+ will not let the bubble in the upper right corner disappear after two weeks. And being that I bought from aliexpress they are very hard to deal with replacement or refund. I would recommend spending the extra money to go through eBay or Amazon.

Also the dust that gets under the colored part of the screen protector is a definite concern as if we want to remove the SP to clean it I wonder how many times we'll be able to do this before the adhesive gives out completely.

I just received my iceman 3d from amazon, and I have to say that I'm very impressed with it. I know it's just a screen protector, but it looks and feels VERY nice. My only complaint is the piece of plastic that the screen protector is attached to in the package. The pull tab pulled right off of the screen protector while I was trying to get it off the piece of plastic. It was a bit of a hassle, but once I was able to peel it off of the plastic, it was smooth sailing from there. I'd definitely recommend this to anybody considering buying it.

weird.. i don't believe bubbles couldn't be totally wiped out..
and about the dust, perhaps it can be seen only under the white version?

I would like to chime in my thoughts as well.

I ordered it from Aliexpress and was a bit skeptical because of all the different reviews here and the other thread.

Like other people said, you have to really push the bubbles out and due to it's curved edges, you really have to make sure the alignment is 99% accurate! I had to take it off and re-apply multiple times just to make sure it is aligned properly. To know whether or not it is aligned properly is the whether the sides (near the black/white boarders) are adhering properly. If it seems that the bubbles cannot be pushed out from those sides, it's probably best to take it off and re-apply again.

But once you've aligned it properly and pushed out all the bubbles, it's an amazing product. Would recommend to other people and buy more for myself. Though, it is clicky near the home button, but you don't really notice it unless you specifically press it.

One major complaint is the plastic backing though, you have to be careful taking it off or else it might break the screen protector.

Will upload pictures soon.

Dropped phone twice now on tiled floor... from toilet seat height :p and no damaged what so ever to phone or screen shield :D

the more interesting question is WHAT were you doing in the toilet that made the phone drop twice!
