the more interesting question is WHAT were you doing in the toilet that made the phone drop twice!

Oh dear lol >.< I was just doing a poop and I must have lost concentration of my hands whilst focusing on other areas and just dropped it ;p

weird.. i don't believe bubbles couldn't be totally wiped out..
and about the dust, perhaps it can be seen only under the white version?

I tried to recenter the SP multiple times but the one corner bubble just won't go away.

The dust I'm talking about is under the colored parts of the SP. can't see it but it's definitely there

Just as an update for anyone who cares, Godosmith got back with me and said they would send me a replacement. I have the tracking, etc. already. I'll update again when I get the replacement product (in approximately 3 weeks, most likely).
My replacement screen protector has arrived. It took exactly three weeks for it to show up from China (via free Singapore Post) to Northwestern Arkansas.

This install was, again, quite easy and relatively painless:
  • The packaging was slightly different with an interior box composed of foam in lieu of cardboard.
  • I used the steam shower method again to reduce likelihood of dust getting between screen and protector.
  • I followed all application instructions provided.
  • I did experience the tab breaking off of the screen protector's backing this time, though I just used my fingernails to carefully pry it away without issue.
  • The protector immediately adhered correctly, only leaving a few small bubbles (between the size of an eraser head and a U.S. nickel), which I was able to massage out in just a couple of minutes.
Overall, I'm happy with the company and the overall product. There are no bubbles, no dust, and the wife couldn't even tell that the phone had a screen protector installed.
-Will

P.S. Some had asked about a ring of grit/grime left around the edges of the screen after removing the protector.) I had my protector on for a month, and upon removing it, I had no such ring. YMMV.

P.P.S. Apologoes for the photo quality; I had to use the iPad.

Actually, the "halo effect" is when the S/P doesn't adhere properly all around the edges, as many of the S/P's "designed for the 6S" have. This causes some sort of an air bubble all around the screen...halo effect. This has been the most infuriating part of owning the 6S.

Installed it today, everything went fine but theres two small lines on the left side that feels impossible to remove. I'll try for a few days to see if it settles or it will be reapplied.

EDIT: Got the lower one air pocket out somehow, will not give up with this m**********r!

By the way, it took over 4 weeks for me to get it, I think it was China Post who delayed it a lot..

Mind was almost exactly 3 weeks both times. Tracking is sketchy with Singapore Post, and items from China can get caught up in customs.

An update, I have re-applied it around 5 times without any difference. But it's so small that I dont care too much, but there's a risk that dirt will get between.

mine is still perfect.
i'm just wondering how long the stuff they put on to prevent fingerprints, etc. will hold on..
seems it degrades after a while. or was it the same when new? can't remember.

Well unfortunately after a month and a half of great use the bott right corner of my ice max has broken off.

Completely mystery as I never am rough with it and it's in an apple leather case. First was the crack then it just broke off.

Disappointed as its not cheap and didn't even last 2 months- would still get another if I decide i want to.

Well, I applied my protector to my phone and unfortunately I've got a large unadhered area on the right side of the phone screen and bezel where there doesn't seem to be enough adhesive as well as under the bottom left area below the screen and to the left of the touch ID--it flexes some when I press on it. I'm going to request a replacement from godosmith.

Now I am rather hesitant in applying icemax when it arrives in the mail... :(

Maybe should have sticked to old-skool spigen crystal film

Many have reported no issues. Some have reported issues. One of mine was problematic while the other is currently applied and flawless. You never know until you try. It's just a screen protector on a phone after all.

FWIW ive applied my 4th IceMax install to date (twice on my iPhone 6s and applied one to my wife's iPhone 6 then transferred it to her 6s) and each time they ended up perfect. I had a line where it didn't adhere a few times on a side but it was simply slightly off centered each time.

This is actually intended for comfortingsound but to expand on what willmtaylor said:

Many have no issues and don't post. As with any discussion forum on any topic, people tend to post when they have issues so keep that in mind when trying to assess problem rates based on posts.

I ordered one so through Amazon, I'm hoping I won't have any issues. I will be using a Apple leather case.

I've received mine and installed. There was initially a speck of dust underneath that causes a bubble to be persistently present. Removing and cleaning it (the whole of it since more dust inevitably got in the way during removal) solved the issue. Perfect installation after pushing out bubbles with quite a bit of strength. I like it more than the Spigen Full Cover Glas. Like to add that it fits with my Spigen Neo Hybrid Ex perfectly.

Just curious, how did you clean the underside of the glass protector?

Scotch tape. Works very well but you need lots of patience. I don't recommend washing unless it's already in a bad shape. I did try to wash my Spigen Glas once and it still worked after that, the drying process made it pick up more dust so I ended up with scotch tape method again
