Anyone regret the White iPad?

not at all! love my white iPad 2! it's got a nice "refreshing" colour so to speak. it's quite interesting to note that the retailer that i got it from only displayed the white iPads for the public to see and play with.
if you dont like your colour and cant fancy the wait, you could try getting a gelaskin to cover it?

No regrets here.
Owned a gen 1 iPad and much prefer the white bezel even though the initial thought of a white iPad appealed about as much as eating a turd.
Kept second guessing myself but so glad I went with white... I love it. Got the black smart cover and it compliments it really well.

...in a kitchen, with both white and Stainless Steel appliances.
...in a hospital. The white color gives the impression of 'cleaned and disinfected', regardless of the finger smudges on the screen.
...on a Miami Vice dude. It matches the white suit perfectly.
...on a girl; it matches almost every outfit, and also when there's no outfit.
...far away from me. I don't like it at all.

Had the choice, and to each their own, but the white just seemed a bit camp to me. I can use this black one at work and not get laughed at.

I have a white one. It's very clean looking and fingerprints are less visible. Plus, Apple's signature style is white, so it's a good nostalgia factor.

Didn't you hear? The next iPad's going to be see-through bondi blue plastic and feature a 15" CRT screen @ 1024x768!

I finally got my 64gb wifi ipad after best buy really messed up my reservation. I was on one list and not another yadda yadda yadda. I was reserved for a black one and ended up with a white. I'm really glad I did now. It just looks clean, fresh, new. It's hard to explain. I was really weary of it due to people saying it wasnt as good for movies etc. I've used a black ipad 2 for a couple weeks and I can honestly say I can't see any difference and it doesn't "distract" me in the least.... and I have adhd... for real..... so that should mean something lol. I have it paired with a yoobao black leather case and it looks really slick. Anyone who says its girly is either really insecure or has some sort of warped view of reality. I have it, I'm a guy, getting married to a gorgeous young woman in july, and I could care less if some neanderthal thinks its girly. It's all aesthetic and personal choice.
Well I ended up swapping my white one for a black one. The border bothered me on anything but a white background, especially movies. I didn't think it would bug me as much as it did.
Can you please explain how black is more usable? It does more things than white?

Nop, I like my white ipad. I originally wanted the black 16gb, but decided on a 3g model at the last second and they only had it in white... I was disappointed at first, but quickly got over it. It grew on my and I like it more and more everyday. It is clean and it goes well with my black case. I would not get a white iphone due to how much it is handled and all, but for the ipad it is cool. It just stands out to me.
White all the way. Black is so ipad1 I'm afraid.
