Anyone regret the White iPad?

I just bought a black. Going to sell my white. Just a personal preference but the black seems to frame the screen better for me and makes it stand out more

I liked the white because I wanted an iPhone 4 in white last year, and it looks much fresher because the black looks too similar to the gen 1.
However the black looked more slicker when the screen was off, and watching movies the screen looked bigger without the white bezel.

I queued up for 6 hours on the day, got into the store and had 10 minutes to decide. I was playing with both the black and the white but still couldn't decide.
Both colours looked amazing and both have their pros and con.

I went for white in the end because to me it was a bigger change from gen 1.

However, I didn't open it till a day after as I was still in two minds whether I had made the right choice and was contemplating returning it for the black.

In the end I just ripped open the packaging and have fallen in love with it.
No regrets whatsoever.

Donald Duck is white. You can't get much more hardcore than a grown duck running around all day not wearing any pants.

For the record, as soon as I saw the white iPad in the keynote. I knew it looked awesome, instantly.
 
I liked the idea of the white one as soon as I saw it on the keynote. Then I fretted for ages about whether it was really a good idea.

Wife said go for black, same as my 1st gen one. Whites a bit too different.

Always stick to the first one you liked is my motto.

Got a white 32gb 3G and absolutely no regrets.

I did the same thing except I bought a white and then wanted a black. I got a black but quickly went back to the white one. The white one is a bit nicer for reading and surfing.
 
Swapped my 64 gb Verizon iPad for a 64 gb wifi only today. First was black and all they had was white. Didn't really care either way. Now I'm happy i got the white one.

Significantly less distracting during normal usage scenarios. Very happy I switched out the white one. The white isn't the same color as "white" on the screen. Irritating discrepancy.
 
I gravitated to the white iPad because of the iPhone 4 fiasco, still unavailable in white, but now I'm wish I had gone black like my first iPad, it like they say, once you go black(iPad), it's hard to go back(to a white iPad).
 
I love my white ipad...make no mistake, white with a good smart case (tan,brown) is a killer look..........2 of my friends went for black and after seeing mine they were ready to change it...

Agree. Plus, White is for Chicks. Black is Masculine. Owning a Black iPad is like, well, like being a guy!!

Happy in that Micro Center had only the white 32GB wifi available when I stopped by on Sunday. At that point in my day, I would have taken purple if that is all they had! ROFL

White is good for the first couple of weeks because it's different and cool, but once the novelty starts to wear off and the relisation kicks in that the screen looks inferior because of the surroundings... I think people will change their mind. That or desperately try and convince themselves they made the right choice on this thread.

Inferior screen? I didnt realize this colour thing was such a big deal, but some of the comments in this thread are just ridiculous.
