Still down in CANADA.... and I'm getting really sick and tired of this BS:mad:

Maybe Tim needs to bring back Scott Forstall to get the team "motivated" again... I've read somewhere that he has a total ass but got stuff done.

What does his ass have to do with his work ethic??

I was wondering what was going on after I did the 8.2 update last night none of my apps that have updates available will go through. After you click update the circle shows up but nothing happens and the "update" symbol shows back up.

Ah, nuts. I keep putting off syncing my iTunes Match songs locally (don't want to lose all that storage space), but that means any time there's an outage I lose access to all my music.

Guess that's the downside to the cloud! Every cloud... has a lot of rain.

Good metaphor, they also all have a silver lining!

Wow, getting thousands of messages in the console log regarding storeaccountd, storedownloadd, sandboxd, apsd, storeassetd, com.apple.CommerceKit.TransactionService, something about a 'BUG in process suhelperd[189]', com.apple.Comer(1018), com.apple.usymptomsd.

Things fell apart apparently...

Down in Greece too, both Mac App Store and iDevices App Store...
First incident in a long time this happens if I remember well.

Why not send Apple an invoice detailing your financial loss to the penny as a result of the services being down...

Make sure you carefully re-read the iTunes and iCloud agreements first, the one you clicked "I Agree" on, before wasting your time and money on billing and attorney fees.

Speaking of research, you might want to lift your head from re-reading your iTunes agreements and read posts a little closer. You apparently missed the fact that it's not me complaining. By the way, look up the word sarcasm...

I'll admit it. I skipped over the homepage and noticed nothing about the outage in the iCloud/Apple Services forum and posted a topice regarding this. I'm a putz. Just for the record.

using software I bought from appstore: you are using an illegal copy (and it quits). Thank you apple for 6+ h downtime!!!!

Or they'll be back online in a bit. Relax.

Um, define "a bit". It's been EIGHT HOURS now.
Some of us have the faculty of discerning. Not everything's "amazing".

Yet another crack in the Tim Era ....
Hasn't said Word One on Twitter.
No explanation, no apology. NOTHING.

don't feel bad, I just did the same thing, even after looking at the home page for any info :)

All companies go through it. You act like this happens daily.

Google had an outage just last week. Pretty much the same thing. Authentication errors, nothing worked, they didn't say anything and it was hours before fixed.

It sucks, but it happens and it's unavoidable

People are reporting that they cannot download apps and connect to iTunes Store and what not.

But why do I need to connect to the iTunes Store to open the Facebook app that I already downloaded? It works fine on some of my friend's phones, they just can't connect to the App store like everyone else. But I cannot open ANY apps, they just crash in airplane mode or with internet connection they keep asking me for the iTunes Store password.

I don't see a reason why these non-Apple apps need the passwords again, they are already downloaded on the phone..

I had the same issue, not a single non-Apple app would load without crashing instantly.

The fix: Do a full backup on itunes, and then restore from backup. Everything will be back to normal (except for the app store!) and your apps will load fine.

I take it you're one of those people that credits all the good things about Apple to Steve Jobs, and blames Tim Cook for all the bad things.

We've got lots of those people around here, along with the creative minds that twist all the good things into bad things and seriously exaggerate the bad things.

To all of the people listed above: yes, this situation proves that Apple under Tim Cook is doomed.
