Too bad if Apple declined Flash Lite, then they're not gonna change their minds (MMS is an even larger cry yet no budging from Apple...and it's easy to implement).
I'm in New York. Does that mean if I go online at Noon, Ill be able to download the AppStore to my Touch immediately and begin getting apps?
Black or White?
The App Store is going to be the key thing in this whole launch. We will be amazed, some of these apps are going to be good. And I don't mind if a little of itis shovelware. I decide what to load on my phone, and frankly I WANT a blackjack game.
The only problem I have now, and it's a BIG one - White or Black? It's killin me! Sure black is sleek. But I had a white phone before and it looked pretty nice. And the front of the phone is going to be black anyway and a white back will help me grab the thing correctly. People will be grabbing their black phones screen-to-palm by mistake. Decisions, decisions. Any Thoughts?

pandora will run on 3g. the founder said its a credible alternative to broadcast radio in your car, where you can't stay on wifi forever driving around town.
I live in FL so im in the same situation as you. hoping the rumors r true, considering im up this late, ill sleep in and wake up at 11:55

You will need to actually dock your phone so you can install the updated software via iTunes.
i thought they said that 2.0 doesn't support 3rd party push notifications and that it wouldn't be built into the sdk and software until sometime around september with an update to the 2.0?
If true, I might be able to justify the plan rate increases.
It might justify an update to the 3g - I just took a month long road trip and would have KILLED for Pandora - I kept a blog and even mentioned it in one of my first entries. Amazing, they think of everything...except copy/paste, haha.

I still can't decide either. I hope they have both colors on display. Also...how will a white iPhone help you pick it up in the correct orientation? The Apple logo will be at the top, along with the same chrome buttons and speaker, with the dock / mic / speakers on the bottom and the home button. I don't see how its any different??
