Apple Accidentally Leaks Images of Upcoming Apple Watch Series 4 Models With Larger Displays

Since I started swimming again, how’s the AW for tracking swim activity? (Calories, etc.)
I haven’t used it for that honestly. I can say that the screen is pretty good in fresh water once in the air and outright useless in salt water. The salt makes the screen think it’s being touch and turns on all the time. Once in the air it pretty much has to be dry before it’ll work as you want. I learned to use theater mode before losing it.

So this gold ring image is supposed to represent the new digital crown for Gold watch?

Question is the watch face noted here exclusive to AW4, or will it be available to AW3. Is upgraded HW req’d To power all those complications ‘active’ all at once?

I don't think the complications would fit in the old watches. So that will make this face exclusive. But displaying a few things that are just numbers should not be a challenge to the processor in the Series 3.

Hopefully, now we’ve got the phones and watches out the way, the presentation will be revised to focus on the important stuff.

That’s a Valid observation, I was thinking more of the circle represents the Apple Park structure. My comment is not aimed at your post, I think some are *really* over analyzing the gold circle.

It's an aerial shot of Apple Park, but it does bear a resemblance to the new ringed crown. 'Gather round' could also have a double meaning of complications gathering round a circular watch face

Please 3 network please 3 network!!!!!

I honestly doubt anymore networks would jump on board. The only reason EE is exclusive is because they are the only network here with the infrastructure to deal with shared numbers; that’s the only reason. It’s got nothing to do with bandwidth or Apple giving exclusivity to EE.

Someone may have already said it, but that Side Button is definitely not a “real” button—it’s clearly flush with the case.

Ok, now that all the iOS fans have what they wanted, can we please do something productive and have a Mac event on Sept 12?

"Since doubling-down on security didn't work, we decided to leak our product first. This will also give people an idea of what to expect so they don't bitch about the lack of a dramatic redesign following the keynote." - Tim

Also, I really like that face.

It was Actually rumored for a haptic button for future Apple Watch models based off a rumor about a month or so ago, and that clearly represents the power button being haptic powered sitting almost even with the casing, where the digital crown still might have the push button style, which would make sense.

That will _Not_happen. There is no way Apple is going to announce three new iPhones, the Series 4 Apple Watch and whatever else they might have in store on September 12. September is really about the iPhone and Apple is not going to allow the iMac take away from that. The iMac and iPad will likely have their own separate event either late 2018 or 2019.
