Max Tech doesn't ever seem to have much inside info. He just guesses a lot, based on other people's rumours. Kuo and Gurman don't always have inside info either, but they seem to have a much better grasp of the supply chain or much more leaked info than Max Tech has ever had.
Gurman is still the best by far. Not perfect by any means but much better than the rest. Ross Young is pretty accurate as well when it comes to display-related roadmaps.

And Apple is owned by the Beatles since about 1968. So apparently Jobs & Woz had a little Samesung in them in 1976 and 1983... while they chomped on those fast food burgers over naming-days lunches. ;)

Just think if they would have preferred Burger King instead. We'd all be looking forward to new Whops. ;)

But the "have it your way song" mostly applies with only a few words swapped to tech terms.

Now bring on that new M3 Whop!
I’ve heard that Apple had to make an agreement and pay McIntosh (the stereo company) a sum of money to keep using the name “MacIntosh” back in the 70’s or early 80’s. Don’t have any of the details, but this one computes (couldn’t resist).

There will be no new hardware.

Apple is going to announce that macOS is now allowed to run virtualized on M1 and M2 iPads.
It would be nice if it could run properly in n M1/M2 Mac’s let alone on ipads.
While we are dreaming, BootCamp on ipad aupporting MacOS & iPadOS. :)

Here we go with the tutti-fruitti, phoney-baloney, plastic banana, good time rock-n-roll Apple PR hype, using pre-recorded videos with over-the-top, hyperbolic scripts and “most powerful,” “most efficient,” “best ever,” etc. nonsense (as if Apple would release an inferior product). It’s like Apple has to over-sell because they don’t believe in their own products.
And here we go with the toxic comments complaining about Apple events. I for one like Apple events, I think you will love it.

I forget that one but you are correct. So:
  • Beatles: Apple
  • McIntosh: Macintosh
Didn't find anything for OP on whether McDonalds ever got into it over the word Mac

I was surprised with all the Europeans in the comments! In my case I'll finally be able to watch it live in the morning (9AM here in Japan)

Apparently unlike us American's who have a long history of being willing to set our clocks for the wee hours to try to be first to buy the next big thing year after year... the Europeans really value their sleep... along with port standardization and competitive app stores. Maybe there's some lesson in there for the rest of us?

It's 2 a.m. now here in Europe, I'll watch the event as I'm usually up this late. Will be fun watching an Apple event so late and with nothing else going on, I prefer this actually.

Hopefully we’ll see USB-C Mac accessories. I’m not expecting it, but would be nice if they took the opportunity to add backlighting to the keyboard and finally redesigned the Magic Mouse.
