Also, since the USA uses Fahrenheit while most of Europe uses Celsius, "room temperature IQ" in the USA means high 70s while in Europe it's 22 at most.
Oh, gnasher, you caught me.

You probably guessed I was going with Celsius.

Would you like to compare service records, private? I'll give you a hint: mine starts with Desert Storm.

I'm convinced he's simply lying about having served. I refuse to believe our military could produce someone so daft and rude. I have to believe that.

Thanks.. you still have no balls

Liberal Tears

It't not about having 'balls', it's about common sense.

Trump is a total loser. He's feeding you with fictional assumptions and simply lies that he's protecting Americans against people from countries that supposed to deliver terrorist in America. Well, let me look at the facts...
The numbers of foreigners killing Americans in a terrorist act, people that came originally from the list of the zeven countries that are currently been banned by the Trump administration. The data provides a "disturbing" inside of how many Americans have been killed on American ground by people / terrorist from these seven countries. The data goes from 1975 until 2015...

Be aware, those are shocking numbers...

People from Syria that have been killing Americans -> 0
People from Sudan that have been killing Americans -> 0
People from Libya that have been killing Americans -> 0
People from Iraq that have been killing Americans -> 0
People from Iran that have been killing Americans -> 0
People from Yemen that have been killing Americans -> 0
People from Somalia that have been killing Americans -> 0

Now, you tell me, how ignorant, narrow minded and stupid a person has to be to actually approve such hilarious ban made up by Trump?

Let's have a look on Moslims countries from where terrorist originally came from and started killing Americans on America ground...

People from Saudi Arabia that have been killing Americans -> 2.369
People from United Arab Nations that have been killing Americans -> 314
People from Egypt that have been killing Americans -> 162

Those countries are not on his list...

Do you get it? Again, how how ignorant, narrow minded and stupid a person has to be to actually approve such hilarious ban made up by Trump? It's a rhetorical question if you didn't figured that one out.

Trump is a mentally ill and disturbed individual, not fit for the job as president of the United States, the men is a joke where people around the world are making fun of.

I didn't state whether I thought he should've or shouldn't have made a private or public statement. The post I quoted asserted that his statement was meant for his employees, not for public consumption. I disagree with that assessment. I think it was meant for both.
It was of course meant for the employee, with the safe knowledge that it would be disseminated and lead to a 1,000 posts thread on MacRumors, for example.

So we should defer to authorities that have a) not actually examined the patient, b) have been wrong countless times before about who is a threat to others and themselves in their world as "expert" witnesses, and c) who work in a field that's a wasteland of discarded theories and hypotheses due to the complexity of the human mind and our limited ability to do direct research?

The science of the mind is not settled and to make broad assertions about the mental makeup of a remote patient is not science, it's the unethical use of ones "expert" credentials to push a political agenda.

No, I don't believe the "experts" who are making these wild claims.

So what are your thoughts on, for example, Trump insisting the inauguration crowd was the biggest ever, despite there being photographic evidence, seen by hundreds of millions of people, that clearly show that not to be the case?

Don't you find it odd that anyone with sound mind would do that?

Your side lost the ELECTION and can't get over it.. dems and the RINOS will be crying for 16 long years..

Liberal Tears

Its not about losing the election.

The Democrats have lost many elections before now, so that losing the election isn't the issue.

The issue is that the US now has a President who seems woefully unqualified and wholly unsuitable for the job at hand.

Also - no matter how many times people trot out crap about 'liberal tears' or, my favourite, '*******s', those terms don't magically win debates.

Yeah, RINOs like Reagan and Nixon with their commie-hating ways, I'm sure they're rolling over in their graves with Trump's brown-nosing of Putin.

Of course I didn't think a "Marine" would be such a big fan of a draft-dodger, either.

16 years? Do you think anybody would vote for that stiff, Pence, if he wasn't running around behind Trump cleaning up his droppings? (By the time he gets a shot, women will have wised up enough to send that sad, little, misogynist toady packing for Indiana) Or are you planning on Trump's math skills being as poor as his vocabulary.

Trump's the one who can't get over the election, he's the sorest winner I've ever seen, such a small man, "sad".

There might be some of the best universities of the Planet in the USA. But just few people can enter into those facilities. Unless you come from a rich family, you have to choose one of the less good ones.

And this leads to a problem, that there are not enough well educated people in the USA. And therefore a lot of European, Indian and Chinese educated talents are imported to the USA. In Europe, even the poorest immigrants, also from the seven countries banned by mr. Trump, have access to university education and we have Somalian doctors, Sudanese Mac programmers and Iranian scientist in the society. With dual citizenship. They work for all sorts of companies and enterprises. Mr. Trump just banned these professionals from entering the Great country.

This kind of uncertainty will lead to a situation where companies start to relocate these jobs to a more stable countries. Mr. Trump is shooting himself in the foot.

If there is an education problem here then why not ask the obnoxious colleges why they have to charge so damned much? Their tuition has increased at a rate that's WAY higher than inflation. Why? If this is so important then why aren't tuition costs capped? Who's looking into this? No one, that's who. Universities are simply a cash cow and they love every minute of it. They've also become a wholly owned subsidiary of the progressive, super left wing political party to make matters worse. Bleh.

Yes, let's take something that happened 70 years ago and use that as a litmus test.
The U.S. did many stupid things over the years but we are discussing present day Iran and the religious zealots running that country are murderous scum. Period.

Fact is that the "religious zealots" in power in Iran are in power because the USA managed to replace a democratically elected government with their puppet, who stole from the country and put the money into his pockets and the pockets of American companies, and the "religious zealots" were the ones who were well enough organised to shake off that US installed dictatorship. And then there was that small matter of the Iraquian army trying to invade Iran, at a time when Saddam Hussein was still America's best friend and supported by them.

BTW. I think I'm hearing different news than you. While things in Iran are not the way that I personally would like them at all, I don't have the impression that their government is either "murderous" or "scum". If you want "murderous" and "scum" look at Syria where the government is killing its own population with the help of Trump's new best friends in Russia.

Dude....for your information, Trump didn't do anything yet. He only signed controversial orders, created tensions worldwide, including American neighbors and continues to fight like a four years old by using the same attitude on his twitter account. That's all. Your situation has not been better one bit due of his policy's and I don't see any improvements in the near future other then more international tensions.
The only difference that it will make is to American tourists coming to Europe, who would be well advised to talk a bit less loud so they won't be outing themselves as American. Instead of Europeans grumbling about these loud *******s as they do now, they will likely become a lot more confrontational.

And Obama suffered from a severe case of narcissistic personality disorder. Next.
I'll listen to some good advice given earlier on this thread.

You are a blatant liar. You make up non-existing facts and post them, without and regard for truth. So I'm doing what we should all do when confronted with lies: Call people out on them. Don't discuss it, just tell the liars that they are lying.

Just like Donald Trump, who lied about more people at his inauguration than at Obama's in 2013 (proven lie), who lied about white grass protection used for the first time which made the place look emptier (lies, the same grass protection was used in 2013), about more people using public transport to come to his inauguration than Obamas (lie, he quoted the 2017 numbers for the whole day and the 2013 numbers for the morning only), and that he was watched by 30 million people on TV which as more than any other president ever (except for the 40 million watching Obama in 2013).

So do you see it as a tax, or as healthcare? Didn't see the answer to that in your reply.
How I see it is irrelevant to the Constitutionality, SCOTUS settled that.
[doublepost=1485775097][/doublepost]
Promote the general welfare is a far cry from provide for the general welfare.
Nonetheless they have the power to do so per the Constutution

500+ responses to this article says you're wrong.

How many saying they care? It's a widely varying discussion about Apple and TC leadership (the most common and most discussed theme here of late). Of course anything he says gets discussed. Suddenly you claim every post disagrees with mine.

Yawwwwn.... Lets see, Carter limited immigration at one point, Clinton (Bill) expressed extreme concerns about illegal immigration, and Obama ordered a 6 month immigration halt while president and no one even made a squeak,

This is a 3 month halt (not ban) on countries identified by the Obama administration as being high risk countries for harboring terrorists while the new administration reviews procedures to ensure terrorists don't get in. Inconvenient? Sure. End of the world? Hardly.

As for Tim Cook... good that he's concerned about his employees. Bad that he wants to make it a political statement.

Did the Bill of Rights or Constitution change during the past 8 years. I don't remember any amendments being passed.
No they haven't but that didn't stop federal and state laws from being passed that prevented the LGBT community from marrying the person they wanted to. It was under President Obsma's watch that these unconstitutional laws were removed. There is no doubt within the LGBT community that this new republican regime will attempt to pass unconstitutional laws to attack our rights.

He was voted in by Electoral vote. He lost the popular vote. This is not a democracy.
You can see by the #CalExit, Women March, and lack of a crowd at the inauguration that most people did NOT support him.

If you stepped outside your house, or traveled anywhere in the United States during the Election, you'd know there is absolutely no way Trump lost the popular vote. This is another fudged statistic perpetrated by the MSM, just like "Hillary's polls are X amount higher, she will win by a landslide!" and other gas lighting the media tried to do during the election.

Once you start to realize that the Main Stream Media is a cover for a false narrative for the elites, and that independent news is actually the real news, all these revelations will come to you. (This has nothing to do with Republican vs Democrat, fyi).

I always wondered in which crevice all of these crazy people who actually voted for trump reside. The man who thinks climate change is a Chinese hoax. The man who is going to ruin the country's economy according to all experts. The man who's a B-list TV celebrity and has no experience in politics. The man who's about draining the swamp while he has business ventures in the chief country behind 9/11.

I found the crevice. This thread (and forum in general) is disgusting, and you should be ashamed for being so gullible. Haha lol life is a living meme. Yeah not so funny when it affects the entire world and makes the US look like more of a joke than it already seemed lately. Disapproval ratings back me up on this: you made a mistake, and the only way I can possibly make sense of your current behaviour despite all evidence to the contrary is that you're just saving face.

Canada has begun accepting refugees from the US. Let that sink in for a moment. Thank Christ I live in Canada, and not the third world country that the US has turned into almost overnight.

Apple CEO Tim Cook today sent an email to employees speaking out against the immigration executive order that United States President Donald Trump signed yesterday afternoon. In the letter, shared with MacRumors by an Apple employee, Cook says Trump's order is "not a policy we support."

Cook goes on to say that Apple's HR, Legal and Security teams are in contact with all Apple employees who are affected, and he says Apple has "reached out" to the White House to "explain the negative effect" on the company. Cook's full letter is below:Cook's letter addresses the immigration executive order signed by Trump on Friday, which suspends entry of all refugees to the United States for a total of 120 days, bans Syrian refugees for an indeterminate amount of time, and blocks citizens of seven countries (Iraq, Iran, Somalia, Sudan, Libya, Syria, and Yemen) from entering the United States for 90 days. The order has left immigrants stranded at airports around the country and has sparked panic and outrage among tech companies with affected employees.

The letter comes after Cook spent a week in Washington, where he met with Utah senator Orrin Hatch to discuss the economy and tech industry and had dinner with Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner. While Cook did not meet with President Trump during the trip, back in December, he and several other tech leaders like Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos, Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella, and Tesla CEO Elon Musk sat down with Trump to discuss a range of topics including trade and immigration.

Though Apple has butted heads with Trump over the past few months after Trump suggested he would force the company to build its products in the United States instead of overseas, Cook explained to employees that he attended the summit to "influence these issues" because "being on the sideline" is not "a successful place to be."

I'm not suddenly claiming anything. You suddenly claimed that no one cares. I suggested that quite a few people clearly do care, as evidenced my the hundreds of people crying over nothing. Again.

But anyway I'm not trying to get into a fight. Merely smiling at the classic "nobody", which in internet language means me me me me me ;)
