Apple CEO Tim Cook Pokes Fun at Windows PCs in Commencement Address at MIT

the worst thing ever happen to Apple after John Sculley ?

SJW Idiot Tim Cook

Tim has not idea what technology is

Tim was able to KILL the entire Mac and Mac Pro line

Tim was able to reduce the MacBook into a 1 port, wood keyboard, less MagSafe

Tim was able to dumb down the software to a point of useless

Who invites a tool like Tim to give a speech ?

he can only give a speech on how he was able to alienate millions of Mac users even with $300,000,000,000 in the bank and using the smartest engineers in the world to neuter every Apple product Steve conceived

When they're your words and you know what you actually want to say, it's a lot simpler than memorizing verbatim someone else's words.

Done a lot of speeches - doesn't matter whose words they are when you have a speech that long. It's going to take time to get everything down.

iTeleprompter. Only 1mm thin. Magical.
Was assuming there was one but his eye movement was good.

if any graduate wants to kill a company like Apple they should watch Timmy Cookoo

if they want to save a company like Apple and make it the n1 in the world they should watch Steve Jobs

As the whole world seems to know except you Apple only paid around 2% overall taxes in Ireland instead of properly taxing the money where the profit gain actually happens, see also https://www.nytimes.com/2016/08/31/technology/apple-tax-eu-ireland.html?_r=0 This sounds quite interesting for a company that "only wants to serve humanity". See also: http://money.cnn.com/2016/08/30/technology/apple-tax-ruling-numbers/index.html see also http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/05/20/apple-offshore-taxes_n_3307591.html and many, many more ... Apple seems to be very good at avoiding paying taxes. That's a fact. I'm sorry if this disturbs some fanboy feelings. It's a matter of fact, as with other multi-national companies too (e.g. Starbucks). And while many big companies are doing so, it's still not fair. IIRC there were also court hearings in the US regarding Apple taxation ...

So what you're saying is apple used loopholes in corporate tax law to lower their effective tax rate. Not entirely illegal. When you file taxes each year, do you have your check book ready to pay more than you legally owe?

The problem isn't apple doing illegal things, the problem is with the tax loopholes.

In the future, Apple will ensure only one is necessary. But seriously, he focuses on one for w

That's why iTeleprompter will sell.

Yet perfectly legal.

Technology, in the right hands, has served humanity. Products like the PC, used by academia, creatives, educators, and other valued occupations. The majority of us use technology as glorified toys and pacifiers. Smartphones? Except for reporting the occassional injustice or unfortunate event, I can't see how they have served humanity much. If anything, there's evidence that they—and the so-called social outlets they serve—are making people neurotic rather than enlightened.

More of an Apple ad than a commencement speech but that's why he got zero standing ovation compared to previous year's speech by Matt Damon.

Irrelevant statement. Apple is first and foremost a hardware manufacturing based business. Neither of the other two are. Margins are totally different for hardware, software, and services. There's no point in comparing margins between businesses so radically different.

Yup. Margins should be greater for companies that actually manufacture products/goods, depending on the nature of the product, customer base, and expected sales. Last company I worked for GPMs were typically 80%. I couldn't develop and launch a new product idea unless I could demonstrate GPMs in that ballpark to management.
