You know, as excited as I am I can't help but wonder why they didn't do this on October 5 for the iOS 5 GM and the 5th iPhone. Maybe the convergence of so many 5s was spooky?

Its a notification of 1 event. Nothing to do with the number of phones, or anything else.

Unfortunately android's iteration overheats your phone and causes random reboots....

Not to mention, randomly stops working. I can't tell you how often I've been happily motoring along, waiting for the next direction from the robotic voice when I think, "say, that next turn should have been by now..." only to look down at the phone and find that it's either locked, rebooted, or stopped giving vocal prompts.

Stupendously useful, I tell you.

Bring on my elegant, bulletproof Apple solution to the problem no one else was able to properly solve!
