It means "1 Infinite Loop" - address of Apple's campus

So, obviously the "4" is October 4th. The clock says "10" for 10am. The map showing the location of Infinite Circle. The phone icon has a "1" which I'm guessing means only 1 iPhone being released. Others have thoughts on the 1??

Apple #1 nothing more, nothing less. And they will be announcing a huge number of product refreshes, enhancements and that magical new device.

Yeah, remember Tim said there would be a revolutionary device at the end of the year at the last(?) financial call.

The speculation is correct. The "1" notification on the phone icon does refer to "One Missed Call" (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0479968/), the 2008 horror film starring Shannyn Sossamon. This obviously refers to the fact that Apple is terrified at the loss of Steve Jobs as a keynote presenter, and has brought in a B-list actress to be the PR face of the new iPhone. It's really simple... How have you guys not figured this out already??

We've been hearing about Android tablets "killing" the iPad since the first iPad was introduced and it still hasn't happened. Come to think of it, people have been talking about "iPhone Killers" for years now as well. Funny thing, those haven't happened either.

Not available through AT&T site. Our AT&T Premier rep says we can order through him, or wait and get it at the AT&T store.

It's just good old journalistic integrity. Places like WSJ, CNN, etc are not going to say something unless they've checked and doublechecked and if they something with absolute certainty it's going to be true.

haha i was being facetious...believe me I know the Amazon tablet has zero chance of putting any kind of dent in the iPad's share...individual Android devices whether phones or tablets have zero chance against Apple products...

Android needs to lump themselves across 40 manufacturers and 300 devices to only have double the market share of 3 apple devices...
