Apple Issues Invitations for October 4th iPhone Media Event

im very happy for you guys that you are waiting for the iPhone 5 so long.But im not happy enough with the iPods.Im interested on buying the iPod touch 5G but if it's a minor upgrade then...:(
 
The voicemail:

We will all arrive at town hall, and they will play a voicemail from Papa Steve at 10:00am, apologizing that there's not a new iPhone coming out, ever. We are all stuck with whatever iPhone 4's are left on the market. I'm going to buy three more today.
 
Ah, the "1" notification on the iPhone icon makes me feel that we'll only be seeing an iPhone 4S guys. :(

Thoughts?
 
So, obviously the "4" is October 4th. The clock says "10" for 10am. The map showing the location of Infinite Circle. The phone icon has a "1" which I'm guessing means only 1 iPhone being released. Others have thoughts on the 1??
 
The notification icon probably is a simple reference to an update of OS (to iOS5). The '1' is probably just for simplicity's sake.

quick question for business customers:

new iphone in past at pre-order time or launch day: is it available of AT&T premier site for pre orders?

i have business account with AT&T so i can't preorder from Apple web site.

Please let me know if you know the true answer.

Apple #1 nothing more, nothing less. And they will be announcing a huge number of product refreshes, enhancements and that magical new device.
 
This might be me reading into it WAY too much, but does anybody else see this :

The Calendar app read's 4 - 4th October
The Clock app read's 10 AM - The time of the event
The map says 280 and shoes Infinite Loops - The 280 Highway passes right by Apple Headquarters where the event is being announced..
The Phone says '1' - Only 1 phone being announced???

Maybe its because 2, 3, 4, or 5 would give the appearance that you havn't checked your phone in sometime, or you have been missing something that is urgent and multiple people are trying to reach you. Everyone see's the 1 missed call and just says "oh look, a new notification" (which they will be showcasing) without the ensuing panic of "5 missed calls!"
