Thats a unremarkable update despite the marketing line!

Where's the backlit keys on this so called magic keyboard - no excuse for that.

Why would they put Force Touch capabilities on the Touchpad and not the mouse? Plus the lightening connector on the bottom of the mouse makes it completely useless during charging. Whats the logic in that??

Was hoping for Touch ID and haptic feedback, but can live without those.

it's about damn time (on the iMacs)!

on the keyboard...seriously...offer one with the number pad - looks like I'll keep on using the k750. backlit would have been nice but the numberpad is a big deal.

on the mouse - the last one was a battery suck machine. nice that you can charge this one but lower the damn price. i'll find it hard to leave my performance mx mouse but the force touch might make me consider it. oh, wait...no force touch on the mouse...that's lame.

on the pad - no comment - don't use one.

Might be wrong but keyboard appears to have 12" MacBook inspired keys. Looking forward to seeing if these are a bit more comfortable to use than the prior ones. Always felt like the Magic Mouse was trying to give me Carpal Tunnel after having used the prior mice for years with no issue. Doesn't appear to be much hope on the mouse, the rest maybe. :)

Also agree with prior posters, magically empty your pockets. :)

4k no dGPU. Intel Broadwell.

5k four dGPU options!!! Yes! And it is all Skylake!!
4GHz i7 will toast the 27" iMac if there's no better cooling system than in previous model.

I'm surprised they didn't re-brand Force Touch to 3D Touch with the new Magic Trackpad. Seems like a great time to get rid of the name that seemed to not be well-received. 3D Touch is a much better name for it, and it seems odd that the marketing is different across the products since it is pressure sensitive interactions for each product.

They're two different pressure sensitive interactions, that's why they have 2 different names.

I was interested in the keyboard and a trackpad refresh until i saw the european prices. 119€ and 149€. Thanks, but no thanks Apple. And btw. where is the 4K Thunderbolt display?

Yeah, the trackpad used to cost £49.99 (at least it did went I bought mine), now it costs £109! Insane. And £79 for a keyboard?! I was just about to hit the 'buy' button then I said to myself "What the hell are you doing?" and cancelled. Need to think about it as this is not an impulse buy.

Question is: Can that "Iris Pro Graphics 6200" gfx card run recent games @4k without any issues or not?

Simple answer: no. Not even a Nvidia 980Ti can reliably hit 60fps at 4k (though it'll perform fine if at lower fps or with detail turned down). No integrated solution can even come close to modern gaming at 4k while keeping reasonable frame rates. Even high end mobile (or, as they sometimes are in the iMac, mobile-ish) chips can only get to 4k with significant compromises. If you're looking at gaming be prepared to turn down the resolution. Frankly even then the 21" model is never going to be a particular good gaming platform, if that's what you're after either look at the 27" with a decent GPU option or consider looking at a PC.

I cannot believe that it is nearly 2016 and Apple are still providing 5400rpm drives as standard. Take it from me, those drives are painfully slow and really slow down the machine as a whole ruining the experience somewhat. They should by now have 256gb SSD as standard, or at least a Fusion drive of some kind.

Yes !!!! these new magic accessories will fit well with my new rmbp :D
Been waiting for it, since my magic mouse keeps disconnecting.

So no thunderbolt 3 and big bezels... that´s dissapointing. I was also expecting more design changes for Skylake... thinner bezels, color options for both iMac and keyboard / trackpad / mouse =(

My keyboard still works magically great, I don't type a lot but that built-in battery is all I need. My mouse is been acting lately after the El Capitan I can live with it. I would love to get the new trackpad just for the force touch, love it in my iphone 6s+ already. But I have to wait until more application takes advantage of the technology.
