Would LOVE to load the site to see all the pics... but it's down. Surprise, surprise.

Mirror anyone?

It really looks like that bottom section can slide off... I wonder what would be in there that you'd need to get access to? Any ideas?

I don't really get why there's a break on the top though, by the headphone socket... Really looking forward to WWDC. There's so many things they could potentially announce there, although I'm betting it'll be all about the iPhone again...

The 'seams' as everyone is refering to them are simply design elements to help determine orientation without looking at the device. No sliding panels, its a sealed unit.

The Break at the top helps you to identify the location of the headphone socket by touch alone, useful in the dark and for blind users.

M.

Glad I'm not the only one who noticed. The camera on the back is definitely different/larger in this new Vietnamese prototype.

Hmm, nice idea... but surely blind users would be able to identify the location of the headphone socket due to it being a hole in the top of the phone?

Stop it at once, bunch of drunks!

Now it's getting a bit ridiculous!

They wasted enough taxpayers' money on the previous investigation, because some young dude with a bunch of carrot for a brain left a prototype in a bar...

Now they lost another one? Who are these people? Are they trying to fool us or are they really this unprofessional?

Enough of the publicity stunts, Apple Inc! The next time I want to hear from them is when Jobs admits that they got it wrong with treating their customers like idiots, so they support Flash, as everybody else who intends to use the web today.

i imagine blind users are not high on the demographic list seeing as its nigh impossible for them to use a touch screen device with no tactile respone

OF COURSE Apple lost it!!! :D  Are people really stupid enough to believe that crap? This is all about amateur marketing and nothing more... it's spreading on the web like hell, it's effectiv, and it costs them not one penny!

the back camera is different

I never noticed what I assume is an LED/flash next to the lens before... that'll be useful!

The features exposed by iPhone 4.0 betas have included not only a flash but a torch function. The way i understand it is that if you are shooting video the led will remain on, like a torch.

Maybe you can remove the bottom to add more storage space? Unlikey, but we can dream right??!

Guess this means I'll have to get a new iPhone dock too...

Keep dreaming, Apple's in the business of getting you to upgrade to the bigger model. Also every ipod and iphone has necessitated a new dock, why should this be any different?

Yes this is totally planned by Apple, it's so obvious.

I find it hard to believe Apple would really leak an actual model; a blurry picture maybe or hints about functions etc but an actual model can be stripped and parts examined by competition also it removes the control and the impact of Hi-Res promo photos

unibody?

seems to be a very early prototype, the small chasms at the side show that its not a unibody enclosure

You'll be able to find the way in the dark too... Torch applications that make your screen white really don't work!

jesus...when will people accept that this is what the new iPhone will look like?

the phone comes out in a month, the new iPhone has already been manufactured and produced in mass quantities. they aren't still playing with designs and prototypes.
