I'll let you know if 3 hours as my 3.69GB download is being served by dialup or something. What is the version of Time Machine in macOS Big Sur 11.0.1 (20B5012d) Beta? Time Machine 1.3, or Time Machine 2.0? Thanks!
It's 1.3What is the version of Time Machine in macOS Big Sur 11.0.1 (20B5012d) Beta? Time Machine 1.3, or Time Machine 2.0? Thanks!
Do you know when 19H4 was released? Is there any information available about differences between 19H2 and 19H4? Is the 19H4 installer available from the macOS app store? Not yet.
But interestingly apple did release a new build of catalina - as a full installer, version 10.15.7, build 19H4. Before it was build 19H2.
No.@erniefairchild1 Might I ask what are you disagreeing with? It’s just my observation with respect to bugs I am facing. Disagreeing will not make the bugs disappear for me. 😂
nopeWhen is Big Sur finally going to be released? I don’t think it’s ever taken Apple this long to release an updated OS. Is it because BS (😆) is very buggy?
totally don't know what you mean then. I can find no downloadable app, so you must mean in Safari or chrome? Are you talking 4k? That has worked for some time, but you have to make sure that vp9 codecs are turned on in experimental features, Again available for some time. Other than that, always been working for me from one beta to the next. So "the YouTube bug". maybe I just don't know what you meanNo, Apple broke it for some users in the previous Big Sur beta.
In beta 10, many users on here reported that YouTube playback in both Safari and Safari Tech Preview was broken. Not everyone had the issue, but enough where it was notable. Check the Big Sur section of the forum and you'll see.totally don't know what you mean then. I can find no downloadable app, so you must mean in Safari or chrome? Are you talking 4k? I thought exactly the same as you...Did I miss the news that Big Sur was released??? Doesn’t the .1 beta usually follow the public release??
Hasn’t slowed down my 2015 MBP!is this the version that will slow down my MBP and make me want to buy a new one?
It was released yesterday.Do you know when 19H4 was released? Is there any information available about differences between 19H2 and 19H4? Is the 19H4 installer available from the macOS app store?
Thanks.

By all means - yes it is.With all the issues folks report here is Mojave still more stable than Catalina?
Why are you asking this (genuine question)? What is 2.0?What is the version of Time Machine in macOS Big Sur 11.0.1 (20B5012d) Beta? Time Machine 1.3, or Time Machine 2.0? Thanks!
Like you can't play *any* YouTube? I am on 20A5395g with Tech preview 115 and I can play YouTube videos. If the "About 5 minutes remaining" install prep every finishes I will try again on 11.0.1 B1I installed beta 10 today and youtube playback doesnt work 😝
Nothing odd about it at all, they're dropping it at the November event when they announce the new arm macbook, makes total sense to do it this way.It just seems odd that their has been 2 events and they didn’t bring up big sur at all... also odd that they haven’t given a release date.. We usually have it by now and honestly theirs no reason to wait on the new Apple Silicon Macs to release it.
Alsoft said in their Twitter account that DiskWarrior 6 to rebuild the directory of APFS disks would be available in three to six months, once APFS is finished, and pointed to Time Machine 2, which indeed should be the one in macOS 11 Big Sur, since it is much different from 1.3 version already available many years ago. For instance, the new Time Machine can backup into APFS disks, and even saving just changed block(s) instead of the full file when only such block(s) are changed. I guess that Apple forgot to rename it as Time Machine 2.0 in Big Sur.Why are you asking this (genuine question)? What is 2.0?
