So after my old iTunes (12.6) downloads the update I get the message 'could not be updated because the firmware file is not compatible.' Is there anything that can be done about this? It has been the norm since iOS13 came out. Someone with an older system can't buy and update a new iPad? I'm just clinging to the old iTunes. It still works OTA, but this is kinda strange...I guess not Apple-strange, just normal-strange.

Does this include the new modem firmware that was supposedly in the betas and does it fix the very broken current one on iPhone X’s at least? As cell data has been bloody awful since updating to 13, amongst other things but that’s been the worst, sick and tired of things not loading when it’s showing up to max four bars of 4G, wasn’t like that on any iOS version that I can remember and was certainly fine on any version of 12.

I hope there is better performance in this as well. I noticed recently when unlocking at times that faceid takes longer and then animation for the lock to unlock lags, with a bit of lag entering the home screen.

Hopefully they have fixed the Message alert not repeating (despite me having the Notification setting set to repeat 10 times).

Edit:
It has not been fixed 😤😤😤

you mean humans who take a working OS and then proceed to break almost every part of it and rush it out and release it as an update... yeah you can’t really defend this from Apple.. Cook and the board should be given pay cuts for this total mess of OS updates they’ve done.

Well, see, Apple now considers itself an entertainment company - and they've taken to heart the common Hollywood phrase "We'll fix it in Post". 😁

Me too. My Feedback on that is still open and still "None" other reports. Assuming this gets fixed one day, I wish they'd add the "repeat" option to other notifications. My calendar event notifications could do with repeating as I occasionally miss them.

How about fix the issue where email notification says there’s mail, then you open mail and no mail downloaded until you do a manual refresh?

Edit: It MAY be fixed!

I experience this problem in many apps, but only in third-party apps (not by Apple). If this was indeed a bug and they've improved it, then great.

Facebook Pages Manager app is the worst! I get one incoming message and the app is badged with "34" as if there are 34 items for me to look at. I open the app, read the single message, and then need to close and re-open the app again and finally the badge disappears. So annoying.

The Gmail app also seems to hang onto the badge longer than I expect.

First-party apps (by Apple) do not give me this same grief. Mail does not give me this problem, and I have accounts across multiple mail providers.

The people at Apple are human, and humans make mistakes. Be happy that Apple are actually working on resolving problems instead of leaving us to fend for ourselves.

I don’t expect mistakes to not be made. But I also don’t expect SO MANY to be released when there was months of beta releases prior. Shouldn’t most of this stuff be caught and fixed then? You know, like it used to be? There should be very very little to fix right after release.

I feel that this release was rushed for some reason. Like releasing half baked cookies out of the oven. Never a good idea. And I don’t know why they did this. They have released in October before. So it’s not like they couldn’t have delayed it and made sure it was really ready first.

Sounds like more of a carrier firmware issue and not an iOS 13 issue? Those are different.

Unfortunately it has not been fixed with this update 😤😤😤

I hate bugs as much as the next person, but just reading this forum... sounds like a bunch of whiny entitled teenagers. Let's appreciate the fact that Apple is consistently putting out updates to fix things.
you must also love buying things at full price just to find out later it's broken and wait for the manufacturer to fix it for you repeatedly. Please stop defending this foolishness. They should've never released 13 until it was ready.

If this finally let’s my iPhone 11 Pro Max connect to the unconnect Bluetooth system in my Dodge Charger RT I’ll be so happy.

This is a long shot .. but if there are any musicians here who have any of the Korg Bluetooth hardware like the Microkey Air .. could you try it and see if it pairs? Thanks

I’ve been wireless charging my iPhone 11 Pro since day 1 without issue. Thats not to say I haven’t had other issues with iOS 13. But wireless charging has not been one of them.
What charger do you use? I was using multiple RavPower chargers and none of them worked. Bought a different brand on Amazon that's been working fine, but definitely been reading a ton of people complaining that wireless charging either doesn't work or isn't working consistently.

There's a thread on it here:

It does seem like something's up but it's hard to work out exactly what the issue is.

When will they fix the Mail app issue of new messages taking more than a few seconds to register as read. If you click the delete button too quick when viewing a new mail the animation of deleting it occurs but then the same message pops up again and you have to click delete a second time.

Loads of little bugs here and there. My missed calls notification wouldn’t disappear even after I’d viewed them.
