I hate bugs as much as the next person, but just reading this forum... sounds like a bunch of whiny entitled teenagers. Let's appreciate the fact that Apple is consistently putting out updates to fix things.
I thing no one desputrs that fixing bugs is a good thing. What is rather more up for debate is wherhervappke shuld have done a bit more qa before giving IOS13/IPadOS13/Catalina he go ahead for release, which considering the rather large nummer of fixes thst has been neede post releas, one might say is not and unreasonable statement. Then again I might be incorrect, in that case pleace feel fre to correct me

iphone 11 Pro Max become really fast
Wellthst is bad. One question tho, is it realy bricked as in can’t be restored even with a usb connected restore from itunes? I just ask becuse I feel the erm bricked has been over used to the point of loosing all its meaning, but that might just be me

I did have the issue where Bluetooth disconnected in my car every now and then.

Another fine round of OS releases by Apple . Someone tell me again how amazing Apple is under Tim Cook again...?
There were no rounds of OS releases under Steve Jobs, or no issues, including ones that would actually delete user data?

Tell that to the people who just spent $700-1500 on phones that in many cases just don't work.
In many cases there are devices that just don't work at all?

Looks like the keyboard issues I’m having on my iPad Pro is fixed. Might start updating my other iDevices to iOS 13 then.

I find it an acceptable trade off. iOS 13 was fairly stable for me out of the gate, and I have found the newer features worth the odd bug here and there, vs the extra month of waiting.

And what are these new features you got out of the gate? Dark mode? A swipe keyboard? What new features made it worth the tradeoff?

App Store updates are ridiculously slow now for me with this update. I get over 400mbps download speed at home and its literally taking 10 minutes just to download or update 1 simple app.

I think anyone who has been around for any length of time remembers many issues during the SJ era of iOS. This kind of emotional complaint you’re quoting indicates either a short memory, or inexperience.

What charger do you use? I was using multiple RavPower chargers and none of them worked. Bought a different brand on Amazon that's been working fine, but definitely been reading a ton of people complaining that wireless charging either doesn't work or isn't working consistently.
I have this one that I purchased about two years ago
Anker Wireless Charger, PowerPort Wireless 5 Stand, Qi-Certified, https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0753Z4PGC/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_b8NPDbSYP9HV2

1) Revamped UI (especially the volume slider), app redesigns, meh about dark mode
2) Shortcuts integrated at a share sheet level (makes the whole share sheet quite cluttered, but I like not having to manually select the shortcuts app first)
3) Swipe keyboard (yeah, I am a fan)
4) Double tap with 3 fingers to undo gesture
5) I don’t benefit from the faster Face ID unlock since I am still on my 8+, but it’s there.
6) Being able to select WiFi network or Bluetooth devices from control centre
7) Admittedly not a fan of the photos revamp
8) Apple Arcade (technically not a new feature, but you do need iOS 13 to run it).
9) The Taptic Engine seems to be integrated into more aspects of ios, which seems like odd timing, but I seem to be getting haptic feedback in more areas).

So no one groundbreaking feature, but lots of nice little refinements overall.

The main downsides for me was poorer battery life (which was subsequently improved on in iOS 13.1) and some weird alignment issues in notes, but otherwise, my iPhone ran fine. Which is why I found it a fair trade off overall.

Sure we all want less buggy software but I’m glad we at least see quick updates addressing some of them. Hopefully they will release a few more fixes soon to address remaining issues especially around battery drain and mail app

CarPlay seems to be working perfectly for me. I have a 2019 Impressa with CarPlay and iOS 13 has made it better.
Impressa coffe? Because the car is called impreza , hmm shall we believe you since you don’t know even how “your” car is called

To access the updates, go to Settings > General > Software Update.

Um, where is "Settings"? Is that "System Preferences"? If I update OS prior to updating iOS, does "System Preferences" become "Settings"?

Wattevah. I'm updating iOS for iPhone in Finder (Naturally!). But there's no indication of how much time this will take. How do I know that it's not stuck forever? Little arrows keep circling...

This appears not to have addressed the issues with downloading selected albums from Catalina iMac to iPhone. Maybe the problem is Catalina given similar problem with TVOS 13

On your iOS device...this article and discussion are about an iOS update after all.

The sentence right before the quoted one from the article also covers this: ”The iOS and iPadOS 13.1.3 updates are available on all eligible devices over-the-air in the Settings app.”

Clearly you’re not a developer or you would know that you cannot add new features without affecting existing code. And, the chances of things going wrong increases as the code base grows.. and the code base has to grow if you want new features.

People want new features or they accuse Apple of stagnation. But, when new features are added those same people complain that there are bugs. It seems that some of you are in it just to convict Apple of wrongdoing regardless of what they do. Maybe the Android world would be more suitable for you? You’ve been on these forums since 2008 and have posted over 12,000 messages.. you should have tons of patience and experience by now as well as a much thicker skin.

I don’t like these issues any more than you do, but I choose to make the best of a bad situation instead of crying over something that really doesn’t matter in the grand scheme of things.
Ah the good ol your not a developer excuse.. no but neither am I the worlds richest corporation with unlimited resources who puts out a perfectly fine OS one year, and a completely broken one the next and then have to release a major bug fix OS after that, then release a totally broken one again...

I love how people are defending this, I bet not one of you works at Apple yet you all pertain to know it’s inner workings and how it’s OS development teams work. They blatantly ignore major bugs and release systems anyway.
And no I won’t go to Android thanks, although it may drive me there, but when they can get a Watch OS working fine INCLUDING new features the. Yes I will complain, or the Apple TV OS working fine (so far as I know they don’t have any glaring bugs?).. perhaps Apples dev team are only capable of working in more simple devices like a watch or a streaming box?
I think most people will realise this update was rushed out the door, most likely to cut costs somewhere rather then do it properly. And it’s millions of customers have to suffer, again.

I won’t ‘make the best of a bad situation’, I’ll come here and call Apple our as it fully deserves to be!

Seems like something is getting overlooked: engineering at best is usually just one of the voices that is typically just doing some advising, if not even less than that, when it comes to releasing something.

I think the people here who are complaining here are also tech savvy enough to have followed the news and realised that ios 13 was still buggy even in its GM version. And yet they still updated on day one.

I went in with both eyes open. That’s why you don’t see me complaining even as I acknowledge the flaws that I do encounter.

So your suggesting it’s alright as it’s your fault if you update day 1? And what about all those people who have auto update turned on and are not tech savvy, and don’t follow the news? Should they expect a broken OS too then? Should they expect their device to automatically update and then delete their emails?
It comes across as sitting on your high horse a little to make a comment like that, sorry but when we had a perfectly fine OS with 12, for them to break simple things in 13 like the keyboard not popping up, or pasting not working, I can’t excuse them for that and neither should anyone else.
