maybe iOS 14 made you use your phone more.I care only about the battery drain issue.
iOS 13.X - end of work day @ 55%–65%
iOS 14.0 - end of work day @ 20%–35%
Ha, of course. I literally updated an iPad to 14.0 twenty minutes ago. It reset and turned on and told me that 14.0.1 was ready to download.
I just noticed that Exposure Notification was draining my battery on iOS 14.0 (iPhone SE 2020). I'll see if 14.0.1 changes that, otherwise I have to turn it off.
It’s going to make me reboot to install, but then I’ll lose my default mail app ;-)
Anyone else getting this issue with the clock widget?
Hope it fixes the laggy keyboard when typing in messages at times.
The struggle is VERY real.I care only about the battery drain issue.

Anyone else getting this issue with the clock widget? (See time compared to the actual time on digital clock at the top) Only happens with the single clock version, which is the one I prefer for immediate at-a-glance convenience.View attachment 958824
Sigh, I miss when we just got a few updates and things just worked. Software development is insanely complex, but someone at the top says “hey we hit 80% of the requirements, good enough for a release.”
The effort to get that 20% isn’t worth the effort due to time needed to get the same return on investment.
Just made those numbers up, but pretty so someone says something like that. Of course communication is key, and pretty sure also some devs might be afraid to admit they’re going to miss a deadline or something might have been sized wrong, so estimates are not accurate. Hopefully their retrospectives are useful.
