Do Not Download

I just updated my iPhone 4, and now it's suddenly running Android and has a background picture of the windows logo. Damn you Apple! :(

:D

I think I can, I think I can

Come on you slow b#%@$. I'm sitting here in my running cloths waiting to see if anyone paid attention to the native Nike+ bugs. Any one have any details on the time it takes to update once downloaded? Is it under 45 reboots on an iPhone 4?

Damn, I have a 62 minute download.

I wonder what all the slackers in my office are downloading...

sorry for the noobish question but where can i get this upgrade? i went on the apple site and it says its coming soon.

Apologies in advance for those who will call you names for an innocent question.

Updates to iDevices are done by connecting to your Mac or PC and going to iTunes. There will be a nice big 'update now' button waiting for you.

Enjoy.

iPod app still crashes on the 3G randomly. If you use the iPod app in the background the phone becomes very sluggish and almost unusable. Loading times for certain apps still > 20 seconds. SMS still takes years to load, etc.

Great bloatware. Thank you Apple!

You're on a 3G. 3 Year old phone. Get over it.

Transition from GM to Official FM complete. No issues to report, baseband and carrier files have been updated in general and things are generally snappier. Phone did become hot though after all was said and done.

Finished updating a few minutes ago. Download was fast, and it took maybe 5 minutes to update the phone (iPhone 4).

Didn't have problems with the proximity sensor and won't be using GameCenter, but HDR is very nice to have.

Not surprizing... it takes a lot of speed to take 3 pictures quickly. I wouldn't think 3GS would have the processing speed. (or a flash to adjust for darker settings), to capture 3 pics that quickly without introducing blur.

my guess is it needs the improved megapixels to compensate for overlays, adjusting the tones.. getting enough detail. I have done this type of thing manually in photoshop in the past and really the more pixels you have the better the end result.
