Agreed. I had the same issue with my old 3G and had to return it to Apple. I'd put it in my pocket while listening to headphones with the screen turned off and it would change songs and what not like I was touching it. Return it.

Not sure if serious...

Don't know if it has been mentioned before, but 4.1 fixed the issue with the disappearing "Never" option in the autolock when using a Microsoft Exchange e-mail account. It's back.

Nice spot. :) This drove me nuts when if I wanted to monitor something on my phone for an extended period. I had assumed this was only fixable by your exchange admin(who refused to make the tweak for me) so great that apple have done something :)

I've been waiting all day for this update! Finally all the bugs are fixed (should be)!

I hated how it would go onto hold by itself since my cheek was touching the screen! Hopefully no more! And hopefully a jailbreak to go along with this update!:D

Looking forward to iPhone Live

Now that iOS 4.1 is out for iPhone, we're going to have a lot to chat about (aside from "We want more Georgia in bathing suits!!!!!"...)

EDIT: Nevermind, guess it's an iTunes 10 feature.

So I've connected to gamecentre but there's no games showing, is it supposed to be this way (i.e. no games supported as yet).

Actually, only two years and two months since release and only two months since it stopped being sold.

When a product has stopped being sold, it's ****ing obsolete especially electronics.

My update is weighing in at 382.1 MB. Pretty big update for an iPhone 3GS, when all it adds is the Game Center.

Like everyone else, I wish the HDR photo option was available for the 3GS. I feel robbed.

In that case it would have probalby been best if Apple didn't release iOS 4 for the iPhone 3G. They could have released 3.x versions with security patches but leave the new features for the 3GS and 4. I think they did more damage than help by trying to squeeze iOS 4 into the 3G.

Maybe I've had my head stuck in the sand, but I see on Apple's site that 4.1 supports wireless, bluetooth keyboards for the iPhone. Is that new? Has that been around? Has that been talked about much? Again, I may have simply had my head in the sand on this one. Thanks.

It's been around since 4.0. Even works :)

iTunes 10 required? I do not want iTunes 10... But I'll do it for this upgrade, if I must.

I with you... I already had to uninstall iTunes 10 and convert back to iTunes 9.

is it possible to update my iphone 4 from a different computer the iphone is usually connected to? I am on the road and won't have access to the usual computer I use till the end of the week.

Now this is weird. I usually get a dialog telling me that my iPhone is successfully unlocked. That is until today. I have to find a different SIM now, to see and check if something was busted.
