I know this is slightly off centre, but i feel apple hasn't handle iOS8 in its entirety very well. I was running the Beta 4 and it was fine. One thing i loved was swiping to delete a mail from the lock screen. Since getting the official ios8 you now have to put in the touch ID to delete the mail message.

I know there will always be differences from a beta to a full version, but the above seems a bit of a backwards movement in UI design.

Yeeeeeah, after being one of the 40k customers impacted yesterday I am going to wait until I get home.

Just updated to iOS 8.0.2 on my iPhone 5s and this bug is still prevalent!

Not sure if it's suppose to do this or not. But every time I take a screen capture on my iPhone 5s, and send it to someone via messaging. I then view the image and I can see the current status bar overlapping the photo status bar.

Is it suppose to do that?

Ok I've got a problem, I downloaded 8.0.1 but it wouldn't validate and install because apple had pulled it by then, but it's still there, will 8.0.2 take its place? How do I get rid of 8.0.1?

My new iPhone 6 seems to be working okay under iOS 8.0.2 (LTE works fine, Touch ID also works fine). But if anything starts to fail, I'm going to read Apple the riot act....

For those who need to delete the update from your device: Go to Settings -> General -> Usage -> Manage Storage from there click the update and you can delete it in the window that pops up.

Do you get 8.0.2 if you check for updates? If you do, just get that and you are good to go. If not, try going to your usage in settings and see if you can delete the downloaded 8.0.1 (perhaps restart after that) and then check for update again to see if you get 8.0.2.

I'm a little mad that the rapid scroll isn't working while using Safari. I surf the web a lot on my iPhone. Works ok using other apps, though.

Updated to iOS 8.0.2 on both my iPhone 6 Plus and Retina iPad mini no issues. Both devices were running 8.0. The whole system does feel faster. I was having a big issues with notifications while watching videos in the YouTube app where it would cause the phone freeze. Hope this fixes it!

And the Apple Store app no longer opens on an iPad mini retina running the new update. App updates soon...?

EDIT - deleted the app and reinstalled it. Works just fine. No worries...

I installed it and it is fine. The best improvement for me is that I can again sync my iPhone and iPads over wifi with Yosemite beta. That was not working before. I still don't see any change in Health Kit. My Fitness App is linked to it but there is no data in the Health app. (Yes, the settings are turned on.)

You gave the app permission to add data (within health.app?)
