I did and it didn't at the time. I used a link someone sent that made it appear for me.Search it and it'll pop up.
Was stand alone installer for me.Will it show up as app store update as well or only via the standalone updater?

But Wardle has shown that the vulnerability allows an attacker to grab and steal every password in plain-text using an unsigned app downloaded from the internet, without needing that password.
This Apple support document claims a 8.8 GB requirement for macOS High Sierra. How much disk space do I need to install High Sierra?
Sure, just download the installer from the Mac App Store, then quit out of the installation process. The installer file is still in the Applications folder. Is there any way to download the installer without installing; I want to make a USB stick installer.
Not odd. This is the firmware update that allows the older Mac Pros to boot from APFS disks. It will work on Mac Pro 4,1s that have been flashed to 5,1. There are extensive threads on this here on the forum.I'm getting an odd warning saying a firmware update is required. I'm worried this will not be compatible with my Mac Pro 4,1 that's been flashed to 5,1. Hmm.
High Sierra may be out of beta but there always seems to be a program or two that needs fixing over the following weeks to make it work properly.so tempted to adopt today
Aside from the Photos editing improvements and security additions, any merit to installing this on a 2011 MBP running an HDD? Already have the most recent release of Safari, chilling on Sierra.
I checked at 19:00 UK time and it was in the storeNope, not here (UK)
Anyone with this configuration and has updated to High Sierra, please let me know how the update went.
Configuration: Mac Mini 2012 with external SSD as startup drive.
Contrary to MacRumors post -- you CAN format and install on a boot drive. I'm doing it -- I have an external boot HDD (a LaCie 2TB Thunderbolt 2 drive). I formatted a 500 GB partition to APFS using High Sierra's Disk Utility, and then installed High Sierra. Works great. (Note this is on a 2015 Retina 27" iMac with 16GB ram)
I’m passing this. I learn my lesson week ago with iOS 11. Maybe i will try it after 3 months or something.
Can you guarantee the rogue code will not be "accidentally" present in an innocent app you downloaded at a given point of time? Not trying to downplay the seriousness of this issue, but it requires one to download and run the app.
