Well, after everybody and their dog threw a temper-tantrum over the back of the iPhone 5 scuffing a little bit, what did you EXPECT Apple would do!?

visually nice, could do without the ah ah ah
Great ad, awful music. Definately not reflective of the people that use Apple products.
Some Beatles or Dylan would have been much more fitting.

For some strange reason, when "plastic" shows up, people keep forgetting that the iPhone 3G and 3GS were plastic.

But isn't that kind of going backwards?
I use apple products and think the music is brilliant. If Apple uses one more Beatles record in an ad I think i'll throw up. Their music wasn't that great to begin with they couldn't sing that well and they weren't the best at really anything other than being the first Boy Band.
Not necessarily. This is an easy way for apple to maintain their margins and give people a new product instead of last years product.
You know I love Apple products, as many of you probably do, but I feel like they have been going downhill for a while now.
Maybe our expectations have been too high? Maybe It's because Steve is gone, I have no clue what the reason, I just don't feel like It's the same company it was.
I was recently actually going to buy an iPad Mini, but after seeing the features of iOS 7, and trying the iPad Mini in person, I saw nothing really new.
Features that have been on Android & Windows Phone for a long time now, it's like they literally ripped some of the experience straight from those platforms, look at multitasking, It's exactly like Windows Phone OS, the notification bar straight from Android =/
I'm sticking to Android. I switched a while ago and I'm fairly happy with it. iOS is no doubt still the fastest in terms of OS performance and responsiveness, but that's about it.

Apple may have made a comeback with the colourful iMacs last time. Then the design was innovative and refreshing. Now this iPhone 5C is just like a coloured candy coating over a very tired and tested form factor.

Macbook Pro - Best laptop on the market
Macbook Air - Best consumer laptop on the market
iMac - Best consumer level desktop on the market
iPod - Best MP3 player
iPad - Best tablet on the market
iPhone - Best smart phone (as rated by almost every source) on the market
What am I missing???
Agree! The company has lost its direction. Sad, but true...![]()
These are all legacy products that Steve still had control over.
The plastic iPhones, iOS 7, the MacPro form factor, iTunes 11 are new and all show a lack of consistency and attention to detail. That's the problem...
