No matter what Apple says, the public will believe what they want to believe. As of yet, the iPhone X is not a retail product so it has nothing to do with me. It's not likely Apple's share price dropped because of some demo problem, so it really doesn't matter much. Most consumers will never even hear about it. I'm sure the anti-Apple haterz are having a grand old laugh-fest about it and that's about the only joy they're going to get out of the screw-up. It's probably not easy to have everything go right for a demo but nothing is perfect and anything can go wrong even with the best of plans to avoid it. Anything that goes wrong with an Apple product demo will be spread all over the internet as a major perceived failure of a product. Some people will try their best to defame Apple at every opportunity but in the end, Apple will still sell tens of millions of units of that product. In a week's time, the Apple event will be stale news and mostly forgotten.
