There's a Server 5 beta available through the developer site.
AAM just ran and updated parts of Adobe CC 2014 for me. Which version do you have? Mine is 8.0.0.120.

I am not a Developer, so won't have access to Server updates. Im using Adobe CC 2015 (copy) and AAM crashes on launch.

Downloaded and installed this morning before work. Haven't had a chance to play around with it yet though.

Have they fixed the green button to work as it should? (maximize instead of fullscreen?). Most annoying bug in all of OSX. Can't believe Apple hasnt fixed this since yosemite.
It's not a bug. It's by design. Also the green button doesn't "maximize", it zooms the window to fit content. Full-screen is much more like Windows' maximize feature since the window will always fill the entire screen.

I can report that the issues with LOGIC X 10.1.1 and 3rd party VST's still exists in the Public Beta 5 of El Capitan 10.11. AuValTool doesn't validate 3rd party plugins like Native Instruments Komplete Ultimate 10.

It solved a problem for me, which made me unable to add my Exchange account. Now it works.

Help please
I have installed El Capitan beta 7, but most of my applications crashes after run.
Safari
Mail
Chrome
Pages
TextEdit
Skype
Messages
Crash report
and others..
Anybody have a solution for this?

Sorry for my English

Safari, chrome, messages works. Is this on a mac or mac clone? Sounds strange if so many apps crashes.

1. I am speaking for myself.

2. Speak for yourself. What you state is speculative, although I can't refute it entirely, either. We don't really have a choice to compare who is or isn't happy with it, now do we? Apple forces you to use it (on current hardware) and particularly if you have an iPhone (also forced into the hideous design).

3. I think Window's take on "flat" is far, far superior to Apple's. Apple went from #1 to #3 really quick here.

4. I love OS X as an OS. I hate the way Mr. Ive made it look.

No, the fact you are the only person here whining about it isn't speculative, it's observable fact. Over 200 comments and you are the only one. Feel free to add some proof to prove your own speculation though. Just because you don't like something doesn't mean everybody else does too. If you want to do something about it, stop whining and pimp the OS out like other people do. If you don't like the finder, try xtrafinder. Colourful side bar and all. See, its not that hard was it?

Yes, because it sucks.

I can't wait for your hero (judging by your pic) to go down.

Can't. Wait. (Actually, I can, but not holding my breath)

Geez, just get over it, nobody gives a flying .... This is Macrumors, not Moan rumors.

I still got huge problems with Finder and / or iCloud drive. My rMBP is constantly processing something when I use Preview, Pages or MS Word (2016) or try to access iCloud drive. But well, this is a beta so I cannot blame anyone for this.

Open Activity Monitor and check under CPU% what process is working. Quit it if it isn't a system process. Also, if you're using the Photos app for the first time, it will peak the CPU if you have cloud syncing turned on. iCloud Drive could be doing this too, so maybe wait it out until it finishes.

So, once the 'green button' bickering has stopped and the UI war has ended, can anyone tell those of us with installation problems if they know of any solutions on how to get the latest beta to install after being told the 'server cannot verify' the installation process?

Cheers!

This just happened to me too. How widespread is this problem? Has anyone figured out why?

From other posts I think it may be an issue with permissions on the Extensions folder not allowing Safari to read the extensions...

I don't think El Cap is ready for prime time yet though as the Disk Utility is still missing major functionality around software RAID etc unless anyone else knows where this functionality is? There are still glitches when scrolling long lists of text in areas such as Activity Monitor as well.

Does anyones fan seem to go off a lot at night or when it is in sleep mode? I just notice that it's been happening since I updated to El Capitan.

Go into your HD/Library/Updates and remove the .plist file (keep it just in case). Restart and then try the Appstore update.

Going from Beta 4 to Beta 5 all the apps in /Applications/Utilities got broken for me, since the permissions on the Utilities folder changed for some reason:
