It seems that that todays beta was great for my first gen watch. It runs amazing and it was pretty good on the last two. So it seems to be fully optimized.Ok. When the GM version of 11.1 comes out I will restore my iPhone and see if that restores heart rate app.
Apple isn't behind expanding them or anything like that, there's a whole separate organization unrelated to them that does it all.people use emoji's. There's absolutely nothing wrong with expanding them, especially not when there's no evidence for Joe, the emoji guy being also the Joe from "lets make things work out nice and smooth".....
That would definitely explain the quick succession of 11.1 beta updates. Only a couple of weeks left and they definitely don't want 11.1 to be as buggy as 11.0-11.0.3 on their new flagship model.Anyone want to guess that iPhone X ships with 11.1?

That's my point though, very few of my contacts actually use Apple ecosystemThen they couldn't be displayed on other devices unless the actual bitmap representing the emoji was transmitted - which is unnecessarily cumbersome and data-hungry.
Yep. Too bad the latter was called to help Tim count the $$$ judging by the way things are progressing…people use emoji's. Will it fix an aging battery that's 2-3 years old?

Ive noticed that my SE will wake up in landscape mode when 10.x never did and sometimes it's difficult to get it to switch to portrait. Hope they fix this soon.. Really annoying. Although I haven't seen people complaining about it so maybe it's just me.

Strawman argument. My phone is a bit over 1 year old (6s). I've seen many people get much worse battery life and performance RIGHT after updating the iOS. Is this still an issue?

Personally I couldn't care less about new emojis.
Except Apple doesn't have much to do with what the Unicode Consortium does.I think your sentiment is shared by many here. Sadly, I think Apple is now getting their ideas by putting a bunch of 50 something men into a room and white boarding "what are all the kids into these days?" as a way to come up with ideas for their iOS updates. :-(
