I really hope they fix the battery life with this. So far one charge cycle later it seems slightly better and the phone is less warm. But definitely warmer than the last iOS 10 release.

people use emoji's. There's absolutely nothing wrong with expanding them, especially not when there's no evidence for Joe, the emoji guy being also the Joe from "lets make things work out nice and smooth".....

Apple isn't behind expanding them or anything like that, there's a whole separate organization unrelated to them that does it all.

Yep. Too bad the latter was called to help Tim count the $$$ judging by the way things are progressing… :D

Ive noticed that my SE will wake up in landscape mode when 10.x never did and sometimes it's difficult to get it to switch to portrait. Hope they fix this soon.. Really annoying. Although I haven't seen people complaining about it so maybe it's just me.

it also happens on my iPad Air and iPad Pro 12.9 2nd gen. Is just Apple being Apple.
[doublepost=1508581672][/doublepost]iOS6 was the last decent upgrade. I don't mind to pay for a software upgrade if it means quality.

The watchOS 4.1 update adds LTE support for Apple Music on the Apple Watch Series 3 LTE. Apple added a new Radio app that lets you listen to Beats 1 radio’s live broadcast. Bug fixes and performances are also plentiful in the new update.

Is anyone else having audio issues on phone calls with this update?

I’m getting audio stuttering, and an odd effect where it sounds like someone is slowing down the audio for a few seconds.

Strawman argument. My phone is a bit over 1 year old (6s). I've seen many people get much worse battery life and performance RIGHT after updating the iOS. Is this still an issue?

The 7 has been out since September 2016. The 6 has been out since September 2015. So it's 2 years old. I assume you didn't buy it right when the 7 came out, right? And even if u bought mid-cycle it was probably produced long before. Either way, batteries start losing their charge capacity after a year... But either way, it's no spring chicken. I don't get it how people seem to think this is the old Apple where they build things to last... they don't.

Caller id missing bug fixed on this one?
Well, i geus not ;) too busy working on the emoji’s

What was the caller ID bug? i haven't noticed on any of the betas. The stutter between screens within a folder still persists on occasion. :-(

I think your sentiment is shared by many here. Sadly, I think Apple is now getting their ideas by putting a bunch of 50 something men into a room and white boarding "what are all the kids into these days?" as a way to come up with ideas for their iOS updates. :-(
Except Apple doesn't have much to do with what the Unicode Consortium does.
