After installing the last PB my phone would consistently crash the springboard. A hard reset would make it better for a little while but it ultimately would go back up in frequency over time. I filed a report on it and then got tired of it and did a full backup to my computer, reset and erased, and restored. Since then it has only crashed once or twice and battery life improved a bunch as well. Not sure what got completely dorked up but glad it worked cause 2 weeks of that would have driven me to the nuthouse.

So is there no way to force the multitasking at the right of the screen on iPad pro? Hasn't worked in any beta for me :(

They changed how it works in iOS 11. Swipe up from the bottom to get the dock, (but don’t swipe too far or you get Control Center) then drag the wanted app icon to the side.

Does the new beta seem stable enough to install on a non developer device? Asking for a friend.

From the release notes, AVRoutePickerView was added, meaning support for AirPlay 2 devices should begin to be available if compatible devices (Apple TV 4 or HomePod, for now) are found. Not sure if it is usable though.

Swipe to close notifications is back! YES! (on iPad, at least)

EDIT: and iPhone!

They do seem to like removing random existing (and often well established) UI features during the beta phase - I can only assume they are being reengineered using new apis or rewritten in swift rather than obj-c or something. I seem to remember tapping the top of of the screen to scroll back to the top of a list view or web view disappeared across the board for a couple of the iOS 10 betas which made for a frustrating couple of weeks until it came back - you don’t realise quite how instinctive some of these little gestures have become until suddenly they aren’t there anymore!

Did anyone notice of that the keyboard is missing extra keyboard buttons like, cut/paste etc.

Is this a bug, or By Design?
How to report this bug?

Do people really report all errors or problems with these betas? Isn't that what all these betas are really for? I mean if people use these betas but don't report crashes or problems how does Apple issuing all these betas help?
In the developer betas submission of analytic data is turned on by default so apple gets that data if nothing else, even if no one reports any bugs.

I've done all the beta through the years, this was the first that locked my phone up almost daily.

Same here.

I waited until beta 2 to start filing issues just to make sure bugs weren’t a fluke. I’ve filed around 8 issues since and gotten feedback from Apple on 2 of them.

Don’t be shy to use the feedback app if you are consistently seeing a bug. You can’t assume someone else will file it. And even if they do, providing Apple with more data about the bug helps.

Use the feedback app in iOS 11 to report this. The app will walk you through the steps needed to submit the bug, including uploading screenshots.

Alright. I’m not one to scrutinize icon design like a hawk, but they clearly made the Reminders change for the hell of it lol.

They dropped the number of lines (from 4 to 3) allowing them to be bolder, which, in my opinion, looks better. But that putting the checkmarks on the right is very arbitrary.

Same here. Music app was broken for a week until I decided to restore. Then restoring caused issues with installing once Beta 4 was here...

Suffice it to say I'm glad Beta 4 has arrived.

Did anyone notice a red apple logo when updating? or am i going crazy?

Have these very annoying issues been fixed?

  1. Since 10.3.3 I can't access videos on YouTube via Safari. When selecting a video to play the following error message appears: "An error occurred while performing this operation." Note: blocking cookies in Safari is enabled, as it was before 10.3.3 was installed.
  2. Since 10.3.3 Apple Music doesn't play playlist songs in the correct order. It seems like after the first song is played shuffle is the default operation.
  3. Since 10.x certain cookies can not be deleted from Safari, even when manually trying to delete them. This is also known as persistent cookies.

I'm excited for hopefully a new public beta in a day or so. PB2 on my 6S+ has been tolerable but pretty bad. Same problems most have reported, blacked out camera screen regularly that doesn't fix until I reboot the device, VERY slow graphic performance on some things (Clash Royale comes to mind), lots of resprings on my iPad Pro, all around no fun.

Anyone have camera problems? I haven't had a camera work since Beta 2. Not really sure what the issue is. Can I be the only one?
