I thought that was supposed to be Mavericks.
That's what I originally thought as well, although I have higher hopes for El Cap for some reason
I thought that was supposed to be Mavericks.
I have given up on Spotlight, it doesn't find anything- just nothing. It just sits there doing nothing.
Photoshop and Lightroom CC15 work
Office is completely dead and crashes on launch. Why release a public beta on the public that kills the most commonly used apps in the world?
Photoshop and Lightroom CC15 both have worked for me all through public betas for me. Not really new to today's build.
Is your Creative Cloud menu bar item appearing in this beta?
That's actually not entirely true. It depends on why it isn't working. For example during iOS 7 betas vine, snapchat and Facebook all were broken and fixed by apple before release.
Yep, haven't had issues with that either in any of the betas. In fact I was even using it when I read your post.
Not only is Office dead, so is the Creative Cloud app manager so you can download any CC updates.
Worst beta ever.
So you can launch the CC updater fine?
Yes. I literally just used it to update both PS and LR CC2015 on my MacBook Pro (was lazy and didn't update them when I did them last on my iMac.)
My iMac is what I mainly use them on and that was all updated and working also. Both my machines have been running El Capitan since PB 1.
I've had them too since beta 2, crashes after every 5 mins of useHuge problem with FCPX under EC. A lot of crashes, anybody else.....
Please explain to us why Apple should code their OS's around 4,5,6 year old legacy apps?
Thanks I got it all working with one more reboot.
Yeah it looks weird so what I do is quit that app whenever I don't need to do updatesThe only really annoying thing with the CC app manager is toggling Mission Control makes the CC app in the menu bar open every time.
Doesn't work for me. It does group folders but there's a bunch of other files on top of them.
Xtrafinder says it works in 10.11 beta but it actually doesn't seem to do anything...

Heh? All my apps are new. Anyway, all works after another reboot.
Does anyone have HQ links to the new wallpapers? I'd love to get the original full quality version of this one!![]()
1.43GB on Retina MBP 15. Must say, I'm already noticing massive performance improvements over Yosemite - I just hope they've finally done something about after effects in this release!
If you've installed El Cap beta over the top of your current system, you cannot complain when things are broken.
Yes I can complain, or at least report it so that the final upgrade isn't problematic for millions of users.
