Alternative case?

Is anyone aware of an alternative case that also has the bottom cut out to allow for use with a docking station? I've been in pursuit of one and have yet to be successful!

So how are you all still feeling about your silicone cases now that you've had them for awhile?

I have the white one for my silver Plus and still really like it. I've tried a few other super thin polycarbonate cases which are fine but without much grip. So each time I try a new case and then go back to the silicone, I'm happy all over again. So I'm totally finished looking now. And I've been pleasantly surprised that the white case has not stained and still looks great with almost two months of use.

I've had mine for about for about 1.5 months and I love it, the finish got a lot more grippy wig more use and I love that because I know the phone won't fall out of my hands, overall I really like it

dropped mine on cement and it got dinged on the corners, went into the apple store and swapped it for a new one no problem. gotta be a bit more careful this time

I'm thinking about purchasing this case since all of you seem to be pretty happy with it. Is the only place I can get it currently is apple for about $40? Pretty expensive for just a case.

Spigen thin fit air case? although the top is also open

Best buy has them as well but for the same price from what I've seen. You don't find many discounts on any apple stuff, very often at least.

Just posted these photos in the Apple leather case thread, so I'll post them here too. A few folks there wanted a red/black wallpaper from an earlier post, so here it is, along with another 3D-looking red/black wallpaper that looks good with the red case. I had the red leather case for a while but returned it and switched back to the red silicone case due to a lack of grip on the leather, and no discoloration problems on the silicone. Really liking the look, feel, and grip of the silicone case.

Thanks a lot!!!

I get the red silicone case as a Chrismal present and I'm really looking forward to it!! Have the black leather so far but the red one is really really nice!!!

Wish they made the exact same case but with the bottom covered as well. The silicon case is my favorite case ever, but if someone made the exact case with the bottom covered, it would pull me away from the Apple one... hint: apple, get to it!

Here is a picture of the mentioned gap when holding the phone at the bottom. Normal? Any comparison to the leather case?

Anyone who says "Mine doesn't flex when I squeeze it" is an absolute liar. Yeah, I said it. According to the Apple Store, this is normal behavior, and anyone who claims theirs doesn't have play in the back has somehow managed to defy the laws of physics.

This is one of my gripes with the Silicon Case by Apple. They designed it open at the bottom to be easy to put on\take off, but I'd much rather have had a tighter more difficult fit that didn't leave the bottom so exposed, and didn't leave the ability for dust and stuff to get under the back.

Oh well.

I thought I was the only one who likes to match case to wallpaper\theme. LOL

do u guys feel the click when pressing the sleep/wake button. i just got the iphone 6 with the leather case and that button is kind of mushy. its clicky with the volume buttons. dont know if i just have to give it time or if i should return it.

Definitely a click on both volume and power. Feels just like no case on the phone but just a very small amount of extra pressure needed to click. I have heard the leather takes time to "soften" up and feel right. I would give it time

I've had the leather case and now have the silicone, and yes, the sleep/wake button on my leather case was pretty stiff to press. I returned it (due to a lack of grip) and now have the silicone case. All the buttons on the silicone case have a nice, clicky feel and are easy to press.

I have the both and red and gray/black silicone cases. All the buttons have excellent tactile feedback. Like if there wasn't a case there at all.

I have the leather case for the 6 Plus. Mine doesn't seem to lay 100% flat on a hard surface. The top left and bottom right corner will move slightly if I press down hard in the corner area.

I took the 6 Plus out of the case and placed it face down and the phone lays 100% flat. Was worried my phone was bent, but I feel like it's the case.

I also purchased the silicone case in white for iPhone 6+. It's not true white, more or less like enamel :D white. I love it. I can see it get dirty quickly, but since its made of silicone, I figured, it can be clean with soap and water.

I've had the white case for over 2 months and love it. Actually very easy to clean - doesn't stain like TPU.

I wanted to get it in red, but when I got my 5S with the red leather case on it, the red dye from the case rubbed off onto my 5S. I didn't want the same to happen to my 6+. I appreciate your reply. I'm glad I got the white. It looks so professional with my gold 6+. :D

I know a lot of people love this silicone case, but it's absurdly overpriced at retail. I also think it's not as grippy as I expected. My local Apple store had a few you could demo.

I went with a this case from Monoprice. Paid something like $5.50 total, free shipping, no tax.

Can I ask - what do you clean it with?

You're probably going to laugh, but I clean it with Apple leather care. It's not anything to do with "the Apple" but it's a separate company. I really like the feel that it leaves my case with. It comes perfectly clean but leaves a soft feel.

Do you have that 'mushy' click with or without the case? With the case on I have that mushy sound too, that is because of the stiff leather. It gets better over time. I have used my Apple leather case now for 4 weeks and that click is already better and more "smooth" than in the beginning.
Without the case it's a 'crispy' click (same as with the Apple silicone case), but I had the iPhone 4 before my iPhone 6 (it survived 4 years :D!) and one volume button also had a 'mushy' click -almost no click- right out of the box. I went back to the Apple Store -and I have to say their service is very good in the Netherlands- but they said as long as it works they don't see it as a faulty product (excuse my English). It worked until today, so I won't worry about it - though I understand your 'fear'.
