An alternative to Apple's $40.00 silicone can be found in Zoogue's $10.00 Social Pro case that put's Apple's to shame in the departments of grip and non-lint. (Zoogue's had a recent special of $5.00 per case.) Branding is tastefully placed at the rear bottom center, small logo, with contrast that is just the same case color, but glossy logo on an entirely matte case, so it is subtle. Buttons have the same gloss. The phones bottom is covered. Precise fit and feel, yet pliably easy to remove to swap cases with no pressure on the phone. I'd gotten one in advance of getting my plus and only recently became aware as to what a gem of a case that it is. Moderate drop protection like the silicone. And the Social Pro does not deteriorate at its edges as seen in Apples silicone. Give it a try.

The same exact thing happened to my red one too, very disappointing, I didn't buy the leather version cause last years leather version for the iPhone 5S tore in a lot of places with very very good use

I'm considering the apple stores air jacket force but I read that it has a lot of issues

Yea I just pick up this yesterday Air Jacket Force at the Apple Store along with a red leather case, the Air Jacket was hard to get of once I put it on at the Apple Store. But the nice young lady take me to school on showing me how to take the case off, she make it look so easy. Gave it a few tries myself after seeing her do it and it wasn't bad at all, as long u follow the instructions in the package its fairly easy to take off. I really like how the smoke clear looks on my SG 6+, and it's fairly grippy too. It is a tight fit on my 6+, you really can't tell there is a case on it unless u look really good. It conforms to the shape of my 6+ really well, almost feels like there is no case on my phone not bad at all. I like it better than Apple silicone case I most say. I think this case is going to be a keeper for me.

Smoke or clear? Which one should I get?

After trying the different color obtions on my SG 6+ I decided on the smoke clear. Because I think it look better on the SG to me, and my wife agreed as well. U should go into a Apple Store and try the different ones and see which one u like the best and go from there. One thing to note about the clear, don't know if it's the same for the Air jacket. But the CaseMate tough clear on my wife gold iPhone 6 have a few light scratches after being on her phone since 10/7, CaseMate claim that it supposed to be scratch resistance under normal use. But then again she always have her phone in her apron pocket with her car and store keys. So I am thinking the case may get the few scratches from being put through those condition maybe? Don't think they where talking about being in the pocket with a bunch of keys though.

I've had both the red leather case and the red silicone, and I prefer the silicone. It does attract lint and dust from pockets, but that's fixed with a quick wipe off. The leather just didn't have enough grip to suit me, and the silicone has plenty of that, and a nicer feel, but it still goes in and out of my pockets fine.

can you post a couple more angles of the case on the phone, including the back. thanks!

Thought I'd chime in - a friend of mine and I both started to see issues with the case's edges wearing - hers was about a month after getting it (green one) and mine was just the other day (red one). We both purchased them shortly after receiving our iPhone 6s in September and the local Apple Store swapped them without an issue (one guy was a bit hesitant to do it, but he went and asked and got the go-ahead). This sort of seems like a design flaw, as opposed to normal wear and tear, so we thought we'd at least check.

Technically the cases have a warranty, so they should be able to cover them if they're not abused or the damage isn't from everyday use: http://www.apple.com/legal/warranty/products/accessory-warranty-english.html

I've also just recently swapped out my Apple 'Midnight Blue' case for the Apple 'Black' (in reality, it is a grey colour and certainly, no where near black. Apple should change the name to 'Grey' - it could get done for a false description) silicone case for my space grey iPhone 6, and to be honest, I actually prefer the silicone case.

It offers way more grip than the leather one and yet somehow, actually feels and looks a lot slimmer (I put the 2 cases side by side and then on top of each other and also stood them up together and they are both the same exact size).

the case become very slippery of late. I spend a month abroad with it and didnt have any problem. idk what happened. It's not like im extra dirty lately.

I even tried to wash the case with softsoap. It stayed clean for like a day max...
I'm now afraid to touch it tbh, like my hand would get oily from it.

Got mine yesterday and loving the product red silicone case. The defender is only when I go out for a run or a night of drinking lol.

Does anyone know where I can get an apple sticker that will fit right into the logo in the back of the case? :apple:

Where can I get that lock screen wallpaper??

So, quick question, forgive me if this has already been covered earlier in the thread (skimmed but didn't thoroughly read),

IS THERE ANY WAY TO MAKE THIS THING ATTRACT LESS POCKET LINT???

It's by far my favorite case. Liked the Apple black leather case a lot but it was not nearly as scratch resistant as the 5S version and ended up looking like absolute garbage within a month with generally normal use!? Fingernail scratches did most of it believe it or not.

When the silicone case is on my desk at work or at home in my non cotton shorts it's perfect but as soon as I put it in my khakis or jeans and take it out, it's a nightmare to get it clean and keep it clean. It's really aggravating but not nearly enough to get rid of it or replace it as I've tried several cases and this is overall deaf my favorite. Feels perfect in the hand and is very scratch resistant unlike the leather and adds more grip than the leather but not too much.

The way to make it attract less pocket lint is to not have electricity passing through the inside of the phone. That is what causes all of the attraction. So, if you don't want lint or dust, you would have to turn off your phone.

Which I'm sure you don't want to do.

So in my opinion, you are kinda stuck.

That's also the reason why I didn't use my silicone case and going naked with my i6.

My silicone case seems very greasy. I don't have greasy hands, and I already tried wiping it down multiple times. I can't seem to get rid of the grease. Any ideas?

I took my first one back (grey/black) and got the leather case. Later, I decided to get the green silicone case. I noticed that after a few days it was attracting less lint. I'm not sure if some kind of layer wore off to make it less "sticky" but it has been fine ever since.

gotta bump for that question!

You should re-evaluate the greasiness level of your hands. You might have more grease than meets the eye.

I use those mini alcohol wipe swabs that the healthcare people use to clean your skin before giving you a shot. The ones that are individually wrapped come in a box of 200 for about $3.00 at any drug store. I had been annoyed at how greasy the case can become and these do a good job. Soap and water works, but this is quick and easy, and dries instantly. Obviously you get the added benefit of disinfecting your case too, just don't use them on you screen because the alcohol will strip off the oleophobic coating. My lint-free cloth is then only used on the screen which keeps it cleaner longer.

Sounds like a good solution to a common problem. thank you for sharing!
