Actually, that is not true,

Nope. Actually it IS true. Trump won by less people than it takes to fill up the Rose Bowl.

Rose Bowl Capacity: 92,542

Number of people that Trump won by: 77,744.

The Election Came Down to 77,744 Votes in Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, and Michigan

Fuzzy or not fuzzy trump still won in a landslide
No he didn't. For the 3rd time, 77,000 people is not a landslide.

How even the liberals are fine with boys and young men mixing with their girls in toilets and shower areas is beyond me.

Men and women who can't figure out if they're men or women sound more confused to me...but whatever to each his own I have no problem with LGBTQJEO people, but I don't want the wrong gender going into my bathroom so I support Trump
[doublepost=1487842542][/doublepost]

Yeah and which bathroom to use :D

They're still men or women, they can't change that regardless of how much they wish, whatever drugs or operations they have. It's a psychological condition, sometimes the parents fault, and it's also partly down to being trendy. I find it insulting when they are referred to as the opposite sex, they aren't.

What? There is a law for that?? LOL! Americans are funny. But in a sad way. Why do people even care about what bathroom other people use?

Because the mass media has convinced women that men are all rapists waiting to happen, so for their safety they cannot share any space with one if they will be removing any of their clothing. Why do department stores need segregated fitting rooms? Have you visited one lately? Most have solid doors with locks, not flimsy curtains. It's actually more secure than the bathrooms everyone wants to have integrated now.

It's kinda funny we're still having this discussion so long after Allie McBeal and the unisex restroom. How long after Roseanne said "bi***" on prime time TV did it take before it became commonly accepted?

No, it's because the Electoral College is a system designed by slave-holders to protect the power of the slave states, and even after universal adult suffrage still grossly amplifies the power of sparsely-populated rural states over dense urban ones. A person in Wyoming gets over three times as many Electoral College votes as a person in California. If you proposed such a system in a country that didn't already have it, they'd look at you like you'd grown a second head, which I suggest you try doing in an attempt to develop some additional perspective.

Not quite. Slavery wasn't the main reason why they wanted an electoral college, but rather a side effect of it. They were looking for equal representation. But of course the south saw they could benefit by the slaves if they could count them as part of the tally. It was decided by the use of the 3/5th comprimize that a slave would not be counted as a whole person but three fifths of one to offset an unfair advantage the southern states would have. The founders were afraid of a pure democracy, ours is more of a republic.

It would be nice if Apple's attention were fully focused on its products. I don't disagree with its public political stances in most cases, and also want to live in a just society, but what I really want from Apple is continuous improvement in respect of Macintosh.

Why are Americans complaining about Donald Trump? They clearly wanted this guy as president; they picked him in the primaries and then elected him over Hillary in the end as well. Stop whining.

And don't give me the excuse that Hillary was no better... there was Bernie Sanders but it seems like Americans ignored him (he would have been great).

Oh, it's that guy.

Okay, but do you think more rural areas should be making the decisions for people in states along both coast? Because that's what happened in this past election. I don't see how either way is fair really.

How do you figure they did that? The west coast and upper east coast voted Clinton which was 20 states and DC. Almost the entire rest of the country (30 states) voted Trump.

And if you are advocating for a popular vote and saying it doesn't completely swing things in favor of only a few states, realize that California alone gave Clinton the popular vote. Without CA's votes Trump had over a million more votes.

Unfortunately, a perfect way to vote with a country as large as the US and as broken up into states as the US, does not exist. The country has a variety of people with completely different upbringings and lifestyles that can vary greatly from state to state and in many cases, within states. One of the foundations for this country was that everyone had a voice and that we wouldn't be ruled over. The current electoral college has flaws, but it is the best system to make sure every state in the union has a say, even if it is only a minimal 3 electoral votes. To me it makes better sense for more states to use a split electoral vote as they do in Maine and Nebraska, but this brings up issues in some states as far as how the breakdown would work. It also creates issues within both parties where they do not want to lose any votes in states like TX or CA where each side respectively wins every election.

Most Americans didn't express a desire to have Trump as president. But even they had, it wouldn't mean they had to shut up. Freedom of speech and all that.

Trump needs to resign. It is clear he is doing great harm to America and our businesses and schools.

We need to make sure conservatives like Trump are never elected again. These conservatives provide no value in America's life. They have yet to demonstrate that they are more valuable than the Mexicans they complain about.

Majority did vote for Hillary in the election but archaic unfair electoral college is still in place.. Sanders got railroaded by the DNC. Americans are easily fooled and simpletons. The whiners got what they deserve now and everyone is paying the price. Waiting for impeachment day now.

Thats why you lost and will likely lose again.

Archaic and unfair describes every bit of the government. If you're going to have one though, pure democracy is not the way to go. An electoral college offers state right protections, you should check that out.

Please educate yourself. EVERYONE should speak up! Apple is here and has the power to perhaps make a difference along with other big "guys". One individual might not make a difference but a massive group of people can make a revolution.
Just saying, that next time before you say something silly and ignorant maybe think of the implication of your message and the consequences of it. After all, history taught us what happens when people don't speak up!

So, please rephrase that or at least give it a proper thought next time.

Thank you

You also face the consequences if it backfires. People sometimes want to buy products without being lectured, watch football without politics. The list goes on and on.

Of course, but where do you draw the line? I'm sure that you can buy a product and still not being lectured. The fact that Apple (and other companies) stand for what is right shouldn't really effect you.

I believe its right to stand up and speak. I think that is probably the best way to achieve better things in life.

Wow. When your side has no factual arguments, you resort to race bating and "slavery".

Your post is factually incorrect and even democrats would tell you that.

Slavery in America happened. It's over. Get over it. Stop making it an excuse for everything and a fall back for ignorance. Slave owners helped to found this country and half of what we do and have. It doesn't mean that was the reason WHY.

You should flee America, by your logic, but you won't, if you're even here. Oh wait, with all of the other history of slavery around the world, you may as well flee the Earth! Your support for "causes" extends to forum posts and facebook likes.

Now I'm not assuming you support abortion, but your side tends to scream "racist" all day and profess to be agains anything that had any sort of possible racist history. But when it comes to the history of racist figures, or figures who are friends with pedophiles, that YOU support, nothing is mentioned. What a surprise.

Funny how Apple is so quick to speak on political issues, but silent on even acknowledging their products MANY shortcomings - especially as of late - exactly what kind of company are they trying to be?

Glad trump is focusing on the important issues

At the same time I'm getting a little tired of Apple giving their input on issues like this.

Build great products. Shut up. Stay out of it. This goes for all causes, liberal or conservative. As a corporation, there is no reason to alienate potential buyers on either side of the aisle.

Apple, this isn't your place. Stop it. Do what you do and make your dang computers.

Apple needs to stick to making gadgets, not injecting itself into politics. This country will be just fine, ya'll will see.

Maybe Apple has bathrooms, some transgender employees, and a conscience (or at least a desire for them not to have to worry about where to pee).

The manufactured hysteria is getting really old.
The manufactured hysteria is actually that transgender people using one bathroom or another is somehow unsafe. That fear is completely manufactured. Who exactly is this ban helping? The thousands of people who've been assaulted or even ogled in bathrooms by evildoers posing as transgender people? Or is it hundreds? Maybe dozens? Oh wait, it's none.

People who control through fear usually don't have the data, and they count on people being too ignorant to know otherwise. That's why part of the totalitarian playbook includes discrediting and/or controlling the press.

This is why I hate Tim Cook. He is abusing his position as CEO of Apple to push his leftist democrat agenda.
Tim is also so anti Trump he's falling over himself. The major holders need to issue an ultimatum, stop this crap or the shareholders will issue a vote of no confidence in Tim Cook as CEO. I think that will never happen as the large shareholders are most likely as corrupt as Tim Cook is.

I did say Tim Cook is corrupt. Corruptly using his business influence to try and push leftist agenda.

If I lived in the US I would protest against Tim Cook's shameful ways.

That's if you ignore all the previously hard democrat states Trump also won in the election.

One of Apple's missions is to education. Although this is also driven by profit, it is entirely reasonable for them to take a stance on education issues.

Apple is an American company, founded and based in America. Also where the CEO lives. Thus where most of the talk will be centered around. It would be a little rude for an American company to comment on say, China. Or for a British company to comment about American politics. Or a Canadian one about Mexico.
By that logic, Apple should support America by paying it's taxes...
