I don't really care about this issue much simply because I'm not being affected by the use of bathrooms by transgenders (I just assume all people pissing/pooping next to me are men, but could be wrong). With that being said, its not wrong of Trump to work on this and he is focusing on other issues, to be fair.
Obviously you will be affected when transgender women turn up in your bathroom.

Sorry but math isn't a "whatever" issue. Either something is historically a large number or it's a small number. If you think less than a football stadium is a landslide, wow...what do you call it when someone wins by a million or more? I know Trump supporters like their "alternative facts" but come on.

The crying part was no alternative fact many Trump supporters got a kick out of it lol

Well bc usually men use the mens and women use the womens...

Apparently people here have become confused.
Well, Trump is confused, because he wants men who were formerly women go to the womens and women who were formerly men to go to the mens.

I would love to see news where Tim Cook supports Biblical Christianity.

Apple tonight spoke out on President Trump's move to rescind Obama administration protections for transgender students, providing a statement to Axios. The protections had allowed transgender students to use bathrooms that corresponded to their gender identity.

apple-store-logo-1.jpg

The Cupertino company reiterated its commitment to equality, saying that everyone deserves a chance to be free from stigma and discrimination.
This isn't the first time Apple has spoken out against the actions of the Trump administration. In late January, CEO Tim Cook said that the immigration executive order was not a policy that Apple supported. Apple made its HR, legal and security teams available to employees who were affected and eventually joined nearly 100 firms filing a legal brief against the order.

Under Cook, Apple has had a history of speaking out in favor of equality. In March 2015, Cook spoke out against Indiana's controversial "Religious Freedom" law, which allowed business owners to turn away LGBTQ customers by citing "religious freedom." Cook also called on Arkansas Governor Asa Hutchinson to veto the bill.

Additionally, in 2013 both Cook and Apple came out in support of the Employment Nondiscrimination Act and released a statement of support after the Supreme Court gay marriage ruling.

All of the things going on in our country and your main concern is the refresh cycle of the Mac Pro?

In this moment they're being exactly the company I want them to be.

It's just marketing dude. They dont care.

Men and women who can't figure out if they're men or women sound more confused to me...but whatever to each his own I have no problem with LGBTQJEO people, but I don't want the wrong gender going into my bathroom so I support Trump

Yes...on math and what a landslide is. :D

Yeah and which bathroom to use :D

Yeah, still waiting on that voter fraud evidence you were going to provide.
Well, there was apparently a Mexican woman who got convicted to 8 years jail for voting twice illegal. Since the vote is secret in the USA, nobody knows if she voted Republican or Democrat. Or just painted some doodles on her voting papers.

The crying part was no alternative fact many Trump supporters got a kick out of it lol
I have no problem with that. Get your jollies out because what goes around comes around and you'll be the one crying someday. Just how things work. You probably were already for eight years of Obama. :D

Maybe but it's pretty darn fun seeing all these liberals go nuts :D

How stupid are you? We are talking about men and women who absolutely _have_ figured out what they are. Ask any transgender person, they know _exactly_ what their gender is - and it is not the one in their birth certificate. I don't want the wrong gender in my bathroom either, but Trump is an idiot who got it _exactly_ wrong.

Landslide ?! He earned 56.5% of the total EC votes and lost the popular vote by 3 million! Maybe you should look up the data and see how it wasn't a landslide at all. A landslide would be the 1980 and 1984 elections.

All the polls at that time said there was a large chance that she would win, all the way to Vegas betting odds. It was _NEVER_ 100% chance. Just like the 508 : 1 chance you will get a flush in poker. Most of the time you are going to be lucky to get a pair. But sometimes the stars align.

The popular vote doesn't win elections. This wasn't an election that was won by "Luck". Ignoring the middle class for too long was what won the election. Ignoring the real issues: The economy, Jobs, security, illegal immigration, Not Transgender bathrooms.

I hate to reply to these political things, but Apple is NOT happy with the current President for MONEY reasons more than this. The President wants them to start building stuff in America and they don't want the added costs of that, so this is the only way they can get even.

Truth be told, the President said he would undo all of President Obama's Executive Orders, done without Congress, and that's what he's doing. Legally, this doesn't change the law. The Equal Protection clause of the Constitution still applies.

Agreed. We didn't hear that kind of whining at all from the right after Obama won twice.
Obama was (and is) a decent person. And where have you been when these bloody idiots claimed for years and years that Obama was not born in the USA? Okay, whining and spreading blatant lies is not the same thing.

Popular vote solves that. The current system is weighted to give people in some states more of a voice than others. One person, one vote ... it's simple.

Do you think a democrat gets a voice in Texas or a republican gets a voice in California ? With the EC, they don't.

You don't quite understand it. Popular vote does nothing but give the biggest states in the country all the say. 15 million people in CA should't be making the decisions for 1 million people in Alabama. Would you support San Jose making all the decisions for San Francisco? What about San Diego or L.A.? Wanting a popular vote alone shows a misunderstanding of how massive the US is and how different people are all throughout it. If you are looking for change it is within the electoral college, not by moving to a popular vote. Allowing states to split electoral votes makes much more sense when done properly.

Why are Americans complaining about Donald Trump? They clearly wanted this guy as president; they picked him in the primaries and then elected him over Hillary in the end as well. Stop whining.

And don't give me the excuse that Hillary was no better... there was Bernie Sanders but it seems like Americans ignored him (he would have been great).
Maybe the "Fake News" about Russian election help plays into this.... nah that can't be right? So easy for one side to say that and the other to look the other way and keep admitting they won and stop the whining.

Also, Think Different" is Apple philosophy.
Just wait for the concept of building a database of trans folks to document lifestyles from this Trump administration.
From the Washington Post 2/21/17:
In its latest report, Amnesty International just compared the rise of anti-immigrant sentiment and populist rhetoric in 2016 to the 1930s, singling out President Trump in particular.

Trump was harshly criticized by the London-based group on Tuesday evening for his “hateful xenophobic pre-election rhetoric,” divisive politics and a rollback of civil rights.
It's starting folks. Make sure you bring your papers...

You are aware that people are born with both sets of genitalia and varied hormone levels, yes? It isn't really a choice they get to make.

Ironically, people of faith seem to take the most offense to the above situation. Isn't it part of the master plan? Or does that only apply when they decide it does?
Well, many Christians just can't accept that when a person is transgender, they are transgender because God wanted it and God created them that way... But then there is #1 rule for Christians: "Love thy neighbour as you love yourself", and anyone who doesn't follow that rule is not a Christian in my eyes, no matter what they call themselves. BTW. A good rule for anyone.

Okay, but do you think more rural areas should be making the decisions for people in states along both coast? Because that's what happened in this past election. I don't see how either way is fair really.

Well obviously not. if men think they're women then how have they figured it out

Clearly? No. He won in three states by a number so small they could all fit into the Rose Bowl stadium with room to spare.

Actually, that is not true, and to be more honest, he won by a landslide by the # of counties, and by a comfortable Electoral victory, the majority of the States. This was not a squeaker, unlike Bush vs. Gore where everything hinged on 1 state and just thousands of votes. Trump actually won the most # of counties in the US since Ronald Reagan. Look it up. Yes, he beat both Bush's & both Clintons and even Obama in that respect. :)

And in conclusion, unlike Bush vs. Gore, this election was not even challenged by Hillary Clinton, so clearly your argument is a bit mindless.

It's a basic human right for a girl pretending to be a boy to go to the boy's bathroom?

I think not.
Absolutely right. A girl pretending to be a boy has no right to go to the boy's bathroom. But we are talking here about a boy who had the bad luck to be born with female genitalia. It's not a girl pretending, it's a boy.

Don't go to the bathroom in Trump Tower then:

Like most things Trump, things are a bit fuzzy and subject to change.

Fuzzy or not fuzzy trump still won in a landslide

Oh wow. So now people are being born with the wrong genitalia. That's a new one.

Let's be honest. The only reason why you don't like the electoral college, is because you don't understand it, what a republic is, and because your guy lost. If Trump would have gotten the popular vote, and Hillary would have won by the EC, you'd thank whatever it is you believe in.

No, it's because the Electoral College is a system designed by slave-holders to protect the power of the slave states, and even after universal adult suffrage still grossly amplifies the power of sparsely-populated rural states over dense urban ones. A person in Wyoming gets over three times as many Electoral College votes as a person in California. If you proposed such a system in a country that didn't already have it, they'd look at you like you'd grown a second head, which I suggest you try doing in an attempt to develop some additional perspective.
