So everyone is guessing its a minor speedbump for the macbook pro's? mmm.... the way everyone seems to bee whyning/mooing/barking :D about it I hope its not just a maintainance thing!

Anyone think it might be new cinema displays? Especially replacing the 23inch with a 24inch from the imac?

Thankins :) But, depending on what happens today, we'll see what becomes of my MacBook. I forgot to mention the DVD drive.. its very clunky and noisy. Is it meant to be like that? I mean REALLY loud, it sounds broken, not ''smooth'' like on my old iMac?

Thanks, LilStewart. :)
Are you sure someone didn't drop it down the stairs whilst you weren't looking? :p

Compared to THE NEEDS OF THE CONSUMER. I can't think of a SINGLE one of my friends or family members that would know or care what GPU is in their computer. Everyone I know uses their computer mainly for web browsing, iTunes, and Microsoft Office (and email but all my friends/family use web-based mail anyway). That's the consumer that Apple (and Intel generally) are targeting, and it represents the vast majority of consumers.
Perhaps im wrong and 99% dont need a Gpu or even a modern GPU. You could be right afterall they are selling millions of these things. Im one of these people who like to do everything from 1 machine, everything you mentioned,TV,gaming etc perhaps im a dying breed.

Yep, minor speed bump is my guess. :)

New ACDs might be nice, but they were just recently silently revised.

You're not a dying breed - the macbook pro is designed for you!

i can't wait to get my hands on this:D

Apparently it is so heavy that all 56 fans exhaust through the bottom so that it hovers when you turn it on and you can then push it to wherever is needed. For long distances you can actually sit on the keyboard and ride it to wherever you need to go.

There would be no reason to replace the current LCD panel for an inferior one on the Apple Cinema Displays.

New cinema displays would be good. Unfortunatley, the only thing I can afford at the moment would be updated iPod socks.

They are well overdue an update :D

Thanks for both corrections:) I still think there is way to much empahasis on the CPU, afterall what cant the current CPU's do? From what I have seen they are really fast when compared to what Apple had just 1 year ago.
