I'm a dumbass, I'm wondering why it wouldn't give me a trade-in option for carrier, it's because you have to select Apple trade in. I learned nothing from last year. They really should just label it trade in. After you select that, then it tells you about carrier deals.

I am really really stupid. Got the order in through AT&T anyhow, my bag kept crashing and non stop loading anyway on Apple.

Well now it worked through the Online Store. Turns out you can't have the monthly AppleCare+ plan via PayPal, that plan only accepts ApplePay or credit card. PayPal only works with the one-time 2-years plan.

Well could've told me right from the start Apple, geez.

Delivery dates in Germany as of now:
- purple 14 Pro 1TB still Sep. 16th
- purple 14 256GB still Sep. 16th
 
1.5 hours later. I still haven't gotten any confirmation email nor do the two orders I've done show up on apple.com. What a ****ing **** show
Did you try unplugging and plugging it back in?

In all seriousness, that's why I did the prep for the pre-order got everything in place prior to my actual 4:58AM wake up call ... I'm sure you're doing everything right, and I'm sorry you're having such a hard time with this.
 
quick question regarding ordering. I got my preorder through and had a $500 apple card. For some reason it defaulted to use my credit card for the full amount leaving my giftcard unused. Can I use the card during pickup?
This happened to me with my iPhone X, and unless things changed, once the order was placed, the only thing they could do back then was return the phone and attempt to immediately re-purchase it with the multiple payment methods. The associate explained to me that while this was ok to do, there was a chance that once the return was complete, the phone would immediately re-enter inventory and if someone was trying to place an order to be picked up at that location, it could be sniped, so it was a little high stakes. I was successful, but I imagine if you live in a more populated area, it might be even more high stakes....
 
Let me know if you fix it. I can’t understand why myself and my wife are having the same problem

Apple is “blown away” by how many customers “can’t wait” to try the “best” screen and camera “ever in a smart phone.” Apple is “working hard, around the clock” to “get iPhones into customer hands as quickly as possible.” Apple “can’t wait” to see what “amazing” things customers do with the “incredible iPhone 14.”

I've been able to buy the phone and the airpods pro without issues, but struggled to buy the case for the iPhone (did that last). Good thing there's no shortage on cases

What the hell. I ordered the phone, chose pickup on the 16th. Now I get an email showing it is being shipped to an old address.
Same exact thing happened to me! And I've been using Apple Pay for everything everywhere with no issues. I was able to go into my phone wallet setting to find and delete the old address, but I'm not sure why ONLY APPLE chose to use the old address.

Does anyone know when we will be able to edit the order?

I ordered two 14 Pros (256GB) from AT&T about 10 minutes ago.
Still has 9/16 delivery date.
No issues at all. Pretty quick actually.
Very good to hear! It shows a 9/15 shipping date for me, fret not, they use FedEx overnight from experience.

AT&T straight up gives you device trade in stuff. On the Apple Store, it's labeled, Apple Trade-in, it tells you nothing about carrier trade in deals unless you select that. My dumb self thought "I'm doing AT&T, I can't use this option!" So I ordered through AT&T. Then figured out the Apple Store thing. LOL.

I had a brief wait time screen pop up on AT&T. It says my order went through 8:28AM ET.

Guess I was lucky - did the Apple Store preorder process yesterday for a 14Pro Max/512G - and hit the link provided from that process around 5:02PDT and got right in. Confirmed my shipping address and hit buy. Then went back into the store to buy a 14Pro/512G - clicked through that buy and was done by 5:04 for both. Both delivering the 16th.
 
I was able to go in at 0802 using the App, when I checked out it was 9/16/22. Email after that arrived with 9/28 to 10/3 window.

AirPods checkout took forever, like 5-6 attempts but it went through in the end.
 
It’s almost impossible to edit orders without cancelling them. The website mentions to do it in a few hours but it’s hard to do.

same thing happened to me except when the email was sent, it says a different date.
 
It does seem like people had more success with the Apple Store App than the website, but that you had to keep closing and reopening the app. I was able to get in around 5:03 Pacific and received my confirmation on a 256 GB Pro Max in Deep Purple at 5:05. Expected delivery is 9/16. When I finished my order, I checked the website and it still wouldn’t let me in. The app always seems to work better on launch days.
 
I tried completing my preorder on 3 different devices: mac, ipad pro, iphone.

Worked well on my iPhone, order is in for a Sep 16 pickup at my local apple store.

On Mac, I could start the process but it froze after a few steps.

On ipad, the app was stuck on the "just a few more minutes" screen until about 15 minutes after pre-order time.

The lesson is: if you're having trouble placing your order, try a different device.
That’s weird. I didn’t have any issues at all from the Apple Store app
