It seems to be working fine now but shipping is about a month out. I ordered the deep purple PM and delivery is between Oct. 3-10th. That gives me time to figure out how my carrier handles and charges for eSim switches.
So frustrating. I tried to call them and of course their call center is down.Same exact thing happened to me! And I've been using Apple Pay for everything everywhere with no issues. I was able to go into my phone wallet setting to find and delete the old address, but I'm not sure why ONLY APPLE chose to use the old address.
Does anyone know when we will be able to edit the order?
Your order is as it should be right now.Thanks. So it means it is OK for now
That’s true. I was checking website and app. Obviously I kept reopening the app because I didn’t know if it will refresh itself. I got in at 5:00 exactly and the order was placed 5 to 10 seconds later. I just had to click on Apple Pay and it was done. Then I tried the website just out curiosity but it was still stuck in the Apple logoIt does seem like people had more success with the Apple Store App than the website, but that you had to keep closing and reopening the app. I was able to get in around 5:03 Pacific and received my confirmation on a 256 GB Pro Max in Deep Purple at 5:05. Expected delivery is 9/16. When I finished my order, I checked the website and it still wouldn’t let me in. The app always seems to work better on launch days.
To exercise the carrier trade in, you trade in through Apple. It’s a bit different from last year.NO carrier trade in option during checkout with Apple. By the time I fiddled around it was in October already.
Went through AT&T directly, ships by 9/15. And it gave me the necessary trade in info.
Yes, as long as you have an email confirmation with an order number you should be fine. This is happening to a bunch of people so I’m sure it’s just an error in showing orders, not the orders themselves.Anybody have their order disappear from their history on the app and online store?
Or maybe they could stagger releases of products a bit. There were issues with Apple Watch Series 8 orders earlier this week and demand is far lower for those. But, we all know this is part of Apple’s PR, so it will remain. If only Apple had more resources to fix their janky servers!
Is that why?? Oh god lol. Last year I did my 13 Pro Max through Apple and I could've sworn a carrier trade in option was separate from Apple direct. That must be why I couldn't find it this year, looking for something that was changed. To exercise the carrier trade in, you trade in through Apple. It’s a bit different from last year.
T-Mobile issue. Their main site is down too. I kept hitting the button till I got a thing saying I have a phone on hold till T-Mobile Fixes it.I haven't been able to order yet. T-Mobile is trowing an error every time I try to verify my T-Mobile account with Apple. This sucks big time......
That's crazy. This happened to me with my iPhone X, and unless things changed, once the order was placed, the only thing they could do back then was return the phone and attempt to immediately re-purchase it with the multiple payment methods. The associate explained to me that while this was ok to do, there was a chance that once the return was complete, the phone would immediately re-enter inventory and if someone was trying to place an order to be picked up at that location, it could be sniped, so it was a little high stakes. I was successful, but I imagine if you live in a more populated area, it might be even more high stakes....
Are you and your wife on O2 by any chance? I think they are the issueLet me know if you fix it. I can’t understand why myself and my wife are having the same problem
They were all working from home and refused to come into the office to fix them! 😂If only Apple had more resources to fix their janky servers!
Welcome to Apple, where we make “amazing” products that work “magically” to “delight” our customers!View attachment 2054975
Seriously Apple?
Thanks for the tip! I was gonna wait until later…You should try to call them as soon as possible. I had to cancel an iPhone one year, couldn’t do it right away so I tought I would do it later. When the option became available later that day, I couldn’t cancel because it was processing already. And the person on the phone try to do something but they shipped the phone anyway and I had to pay for it. The only thing they could do is tell the carrier to ship it back and not deliver it. Still had to wait a little to get my money back.
I have that emailYes, as long as you have an email confirmation with an order number you should be fine. This is happening to a bunch of people so I’m sure it’s just an error in showing orders, not the orders themselves.
T-Mobile whole platform is down nationwide. I just called and they can't even access any account and that's why Apple verification process is not going through. They said it should be fixed by noon![]()
