2 hours trying and still can't get in using the App which is supposed to be better and I did the pre-pre-order thing!

Did you try unplugging and plugging it back in?

In all seriousness, that's why I did the prep for the pre-order got everything in place prior to my actual 4:58AM wake up call ... I'm sure you're doing everything right, and I'm sorry you're having such a hard time with this.
Dude I ran 3 devices: iPhone (app) -> Wifi, iPad (app) -> 4G, Macbook (website). This isn't my first rodeo.
Never have I seen a worst quality experience from Apple in all those years.

This is for just a phone buying. Nothing else. No carrier involved. No upgrade. Nothing. Purely an order for a device to pick up or ship.

I tried forever but it finally worked when checking out as a guest without logging in! Might be a fluke but suggest others to try the same if you're still having issues

T-Mobile systems must be completely messed up. This is what I get when trying to pre-order and enter my T-mo account info.

My account is most definitely NOT inactive. For another line on that same account it sorta went through in that I got an email saying that while they are waiting for T-mobile systems to respond, they reserved my phone and I should look out for a second email...at some point.

So I think out of two phones, I was able to pre-order half of one?! Well done...#slowclap

I asked them if I could cancel and they said no, they can't even pull up the order.
That is absurd you can't cancel an order. In my case, the order would be shipping to a place I no longer live at. Pretty ridiculous.

I was able to complete my preorder through the Apple Store app with no problems. I see the phone and order number in my order history with a delivery date of 9/16.

I had a completely abysmal ordering experience - delayed site launch time, slow option selections, complete inability to order through the advertised T-Mobile EIP program, etc. Have to literally fly to another island to get a launch weekend phone and now get $280 less for my trade-in.

Think how many millions and millions of purchases were successful and fine that you won't hear about ever.

I feel your pain.

Same. Mine is shipping to an old office address I no longer have access to. They assured me it could be changed later today, but it's unlikely I'll be able to do a pickup anymore since the slots at the store are almost full.

Went through very smoothly here in Texas. So freaking excited! 🤩🤩🤩

Order for Pro Max Space Black 512 went through immediately at 1pm, then a few minutes later I got a "Card Declined" message even though I paid through Apple Pay, 30 minutes chatting with them and they retried my card and it went through and looks like my order is still schedule for launch day delivery, so fingers crossed

T-Mobile whole platform is down nationwide. I just called and they can't even access any account and that's why Apple verification process is not going through. They said it should be fixed by noon :(
A lesson I learned years ago... Never order with a carrier. Go direct to Apple.

same crap every year... maybe east coast is worse?

for those cut off at the payment page, check your orders link. mine was already there.

I have the same issue. I tried at opening, and just now. As little experiment, I tried a random number for the PIN and it told me that was not the correct PIN. So that confirms I'm using the correct PIN, but won't let me proceed because my account is supposedly inactive. Meanwhile, attempting to look at my profile on t-mobile's web site just spins, so that seems to confirm the issue is on their end. I'll blame them when I have to wait for my iPhones 14 to arrive after the initial arrival date. #firstworldproblems.

I looked at ordering directly from T-Mobile, but I didn't like the way they did the trade-in discount nor did they offer straight AppleCare+ or the accessories that I wanted.

There are worse problems in the world to have, but it's really disappointing that these tech companies can't have their tech ready for an event like this.

Well since trying since 5:00 am using the app and no go, I decided to just try on the web on my iMac and it went right through. GO FIGURE! Pushed back until Oct. 10th though.

Ordering was a complete mess. I had everything pre set and then when I go on at 8am cant get the order through and now have a shipping time in October. Apple should maybe consider staggering the roll-out with other countries of they are not capable of handling the amount of traffic.

Error messages, website crashed and had to keep trying. Ended up with 3 orders and yet I can’t cancel the extras. Apple customer service couldn’t help either because their system is also lagging. Can’t believe we live in 2022 and Apple still can’t sort out their web orders?
