Apple Store lines this Friday

As long as your one of the first 10 people in line you could most probably get one. I am personally trying to be one of the first 5 so that I could get a JB.

Yes the jet black is impossible because not a single person on the forums got a delivery day date when they preordered the jet black so that means Apple doesn't even have launch day inventory of the jet black

They will have inventory for day 1 for pre-orders and walk-ins but not a lot, it will be similar to the Gold iPhone and Rose Gold iPhone releases.

If you want a JB and you want it day one you need to wait in line from Thursday afternoon at least to even get a chance.

On the apple store page it says ship dates are "November" for all JB+'s. Guess it will be slim pickings at product launch at the stores.

I'd love to know if these people have jobs or if they decided to burn some vacation days just for this. There's no one outside my nearest Apple Store just drove past it today.

I guess they just burn vacation days. It depends on how much money you make, but it always boggles my mind when I see people lining up days early for Black Friday deals. If I stood in line two days even for a great deal with $800 savings, I would still be losing money because that's less than I would make if I worked those 2 days. Even for someone who's near minimum wage, you could make $200 in two days of work, so you had better be saving more than that on whatever deal it is.

I think you going for that configuration you should be good. I remember I got a 64gb 6 after work here on release day in Atlanta. That's not an easy task with how busy the mall gets so I'm sure if you get there early in the morning to a carrier store you can def get what you want. I would think.

Word. The only reason I am doing the waiting in line thing is cause dude who I spoke to at VZW on Saturday seemed pretty confident if I showed up early on Friday I could get the 32GB/7/Matte Black. He gave me give card with his cell phone on it and I have been texting him. He said hit him up tomorrow and he might can tell me what they stock on the model I was looking for looks like.

Ya it does, so like I said you get in line on Thursday early in the afternoon you should have a chance but it would be best to the GM of the apple store you are going to and ask if they will have all of the colors in stock for walk-ins, since they can't tell you what quantity they have, they can tell you about the colors though.

I am located in Phoenix,AZ and I am most probably going to line up at the Chandler Fashion Apple Store but we have 5 apple store in Phoenix.

Its worth a shot, plus I would not put all of your eggs in one basket, so even I am going to go back to my local Verizon store I usually go to and see what quantity they are going to get.

I just reached out via Apple chat and they said it will be very limited in stock for walk-ins. So that means Thursday at 5pm I will be camped out waiting in line and ordering pizza.

Plus apple stores for launch day usually gets local tv channels news crews that come out so they may be holding back JB for stores for iPhone upgrade program so those people using that program can get one plus they keep some for walk-ins.

Yeah that sounds like Atlanta. We have 6 Apple Stores here.

Haha. Thanks. Yeah I have done it a few times man. If I didn't wait in line I have always went and just kept someone company while they were waiting. It's a pretty cool experience and the way the stores get pumped when it's time to open the doors is pretty cooo. Definitely an experience and I think everyone should do it once.

Haha right! Yeah I was pumped to do it and it's also cool when you get all the envious looks when you walk out the store with your phone and people are still standing in line. You go from a star to a jerk in a few minutes. Lol

Now lookey what we have here...this is why you must know and trust Apple. (yes I drank the kool-aid in 07') Apple loves the visual of people waiting around the block for a phone. That increases business and makes you want the product even more.
