Two years ago on 9/10, last year on 9/9 (labor day 1 week earlier) and this year 9/9 because labor day on 7th I agree with the rumor.

If that turns out to be correct, they'll go on sale on the 18th then instead of the 25th. That's the pattern that Apple has followed the last three straight years anyway as far as the turnaround time from the announcement to the release date (9-10 days).

I hope this does not go like the watch! I meet some cool people in line. Last time it was some french diplomat who lost is phone while in the US and we had a very interesting conversation for the 2 hours in line. ANGIE DON'T MESS WITH THIS LAUNCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Angela doesn't control the things you must think she controls. She did nothing to "mess with" the Watch launch.

Hmm wondering if I should wait for the 7. I usually update every 2 years, but nothing about the new for factor or specs seem worth it right now. I'll have to wait til it comes out.

Y E S! ! !

Even though I have the 6Plus the thought of having a greater Camera always get's me excited. Yeah, I'm serious. The additional improvements are welcomed as well hence why I will be upgrading.

Just a word to the wise...there is no confirmation that this will be called "iPhone 6s," as with such dramatic technical improvements, Apple may skip the 's' interation and simply introduce this as 'iPhone 7' - at least that is my prediction. The "3GS" was the first 'S' phone, and then 4s, 5s, and 6s. I think the public is most likely to go gangbusters on an iPhone 7, than an iPhone 6s, especially if they already have a 6.
I'm sorry, but I'd say you have about a 1 in 10,000 chance of being right about that.

I personally know at least 4 households ready to buy "multiple" ATV 4. That means at least 10 in my small group. I am sure there is a lot of pent up demand. I think an Apple Store and Gaming with be big. And followup with a great TV Service and this could be huge. Assuming Apple does not do something STUPID.

What? Apple's not going to preview a new Watch in September. It would kill any holiday sales. And I will be shocked if we don't see an new TV box this fall. I am skeptical that iPads will be included at the September event unless Apple has no new Macs to announce this fall and September is the only event for the rest of the year. But I kind of doubt it.

They just previewed a watch last September for release in April. I also put the iPad's in the October category, not September. I don't think the Apple Watch is popular enough for people to really care that much about the new one coming out.

revamped Apple TV....

That would be different. Apple's already made it small by taking out the hard drive, how much of a redesign form factor can u make to a hocky puck ?

While I certainly don't expect Apple Watch 2 to be unveiled so soon (because it would kill holiday sales), I would imagine that new options for the current Apple Watch could be announced, to help fuel the holiday sales. Things like new band options (like Sport band in new colors, Milanese in Space Black, or the availability of bands that are currently only available with the purchase of specific watch model; or even new options that don't exist), and maybe even new casing options, like anodized aluminum colors, or even a ridiculously expensive Edition gold link bracelet model. This would certainly create more gift options, aside from buying a complete watch, to purchase for those of us that already own an Apple Watch.

Excellent news. I'll start keeping an eye on 6 Plus sell prices, I usually go with Mazuma Mobile or Envirofone. Best part is, you can order a postage bag and 'lock in' a sell price for about two weeks. Current offer is £365 from Envirofone which really isn't bad at all. No doubt it'll drop a little, but I'll probably place my sell order the night before the announcement. So any sudden price drops won't affect me.

Sorry if this is a stupid question, but what is the point of App Store on Apple TV?

A lot of streaming apps are available on iPhone but not Apple TV. It would be great to have them available on my TV. I can see a lot of potential with having iOS apps integrate with a TV app. (For example, games.)

Hoping for something good to replace my iPad 4th Generation. Hopefully a new Mini will be released with the specs of the Air 2.

(Must admit the Siri integration sounds cool. "Hey Siri, play The Gladiator" would be much more fun than clicking up and down buttons on my media centre for five minutes)
Have been able to to do that on Amazon Fire TV since day 1

Apple TV 4. Give me. Must have it... now!

Of course you are assuming there will be an Apple Watch 2.0 other than simply new software. I don't see any new Hardware for the AW until Q2 2016 if at all.
Your going to have Watch OS 2.0, 3.0, 4.0 etc....for quite a while. :apple:

"will feature a Force Touch display, an A9 processor, an improved camera system, and a faster LTE chip"
- This is not a compelling reason to upgrade from iPhone 6

Apple TV:
- If Apple Watch (lack of useful apps) is of any indication, it is probably best to wait and see how the Apple TV App Store evolves before upgrading

iPad:
- iPad Air 2 is finally "feel nice" holding. iPad Pro would need to be a lot thinner to be held comfortably, or it needs to be like a surface with a stand of some sort and used a little differently than the current iPads.
- If you've got an iPad Air/Air 2/Mini 2/Mini 3, there is probably not a reason to even consider upgrading.

If you have a iPad Air or Mini 2/3, you have a reason, more RAM and better performance. With the Mini 2/3 you also have another reason, a better display.
