Excited for AppleTV. Not sure if I'll upgrade iPhone or iPad this year (did last year) and hand down my current models.

They just previewed a watch last September for release in April. I also put the iPad's in the October category, not September. I don't think the Apple Watch is popular enough for people to really care that much about the new one coming out.
They announced in September last year to get people primed for it. They did a similar thing when they announced the first iPhone. Things change after the first product has been released. They don't announce new products in already established categories until as close to release as possible so as to avoid killing the sales of the current model.

And because they just don't have to. There's zero reason why Apple would announce a new Watch this September that won't be available until next year and a thousand reasons why they wouldn't.

Of course you are assuming there will be an Apple Watch 2.0 other than simply new software. I don't see any new Hardware for the AW until Q2 2016 if at all.
Your going to have Watch OS 2.0, 3.0, 4.0 etc....for quite a while. :apple:

I actually wasn't referring to a second generation Apple Watch at all, but rather that Apple could announce new options for the current Watch, like new bands or casing options. This would give gift buyers the ability to buy a Watch-related item for those who already own a watch.

I agree, that we will not see any new hardware (a 2nd gen model) for quite awhile.

Are there any rumors to whether or not the iPhone 6s and 6Plus will finally be waterproof or water-resistant? Why is it taking Apple so long to add this monumentally important functional feature that its competitors have already had for several years now? It's confusing...frustrating, to say the least...::sigh::

I agree with the Sept 25th sales start date, but Apple usually announces the Tuesday or Wednesday before they release the following Friday, which is 9-10 days later, not 16-17 days. That's exactly what they have done now for the past three straight years anyway, so that's why I'm wagering on the Sept 15th date.

iPhone 5: Announced Sept 12, released Sept 21
iPhone 5s: Announced Sept 10, released Sept 20
iPhone 6: Announced Sept 9, released Sept 19

I 100% agree with this. I am expecting that schedule.

AAPL likes revenue.

Why do they keep calling this the "new" iPhone? I just watched that video without sounds and its exactly the same thing as the old one. Same form factor and appearance but with the usul extra ram, slightly faster processor, slightly better camera, slightly less bendy case and forced touch gimmick thingy. Anyway. Who cares if it's indiscernible from last years release .. Just pass me my Apple Watch so I can pay for it .... NOW! Thanks

One week before the date a new rumor will talk about a delay for the apple tv

And the iPad Pro, I want to see both of them announced but I don't thing we will see the iPad Pro until October at the earliest.

Sorry if this is a stupid question, but what is the point of App Store on Apple TV?

1. Plex
2. Plex
3. Plex

Getting an official Plex client instead of continuing with a hack such as PlexConnect was the reason I got myself a Nexus Player when YouTube stopped working on my 2nd generation Apple TV. If the App Store comes to the Apple TV with Plex included, I'll be getting the new Apple TV without any hesitation unless they go absolutely bonkers with the European pricing.

"will feature a Force Touch display, an A9 processor, an improved camera system, and a faster LTE chip"
- This is not a compelling reason to upgrade from iPhone 6

I agree.

My interest in upgrading from my 6+ to the 6S+ this year is considerably less than upgrading in previous years. Apple did a great job with the 6, 6+ last year. I will end up upgrading anyway, but I'm just not checking the boards for details as feverishly as I have in the past. Anyone other 6, 6+ owners?
