I can't wait! My iPhone 5 is crawling...
My iPhone 5 running iOS 8 runs very well. I am really looking forward to upgrading to the iPhone 6S.
I can't wait! My iPhone 5 is crawling...
Agreed. IMO, this will be the most internally expansive S model to date. IMO, many don't realize just how good a design the A9 is.![]()
Wow. Are you having a party and can we all come? That's my birthday!![]()
Wow!its also the 9th iPhone release.... i'll wait here while you put your mind back together.
Rumor is an extra .2mm thicker.
Has any other "S" release had a form factor change?

They never doWhen did Apple officially say this? If they did please tell me where Apple did so I can read this.
My point is this is all pure speculation and evidence based rumours till the event and Apple speaks officially.
The current $69 Apple TV has, if I recall correctly, 8GB of flash memory for buffering and OS. It shouldn't have a problem buffering an entire HD movie. Just don't hit "play" right away and let the buffering get well ahead of the playhead and you shouldn't hit mid-movie buffering delays.
This is a HUGE advantage over streaming-only boxes like Amazon's. Our internet connection gets slow sometimes, and Amazon's Fire Stick absolutely hates life when that happens. On the AppleTV we rarely notice it because it builds up a very long buffer while the connection is good (typically we see the traffic from the AppleTV end well before halfway through an HD movie, which means it gets over an hour ahead). But, if the bad connection happens right after starting a movie we just pause for about thirty seconds then start up again without problems.
That said, actual local storage of movies would be a bit unexpected although welcome. I do miss the 160GB drive of the first-gen boxes. But, for years now Apple's line has been that if you want to store movies locally like a caveman then you need to buy a Mac mini and hook that up to your TV (which I've heard works really well, but it isn't cheap).
I said that awhile ago too. Got sick of waiting and have been dealing with a Hulu/HBO now and Netflix combo for some time now. I watch more tv now than when I had cablePlease oh please let the new Apple TV release me from the chains of my evil cable provider!
I'm praying for not another hobby announcement.
the only reason they might do ipads and iphones at the same event would be if the ipads improvements are very minor. I guess this is possible but if true it would sadly also mean that the iPad Pro is not coming this year. as you say, if it's coming soon they'll definitely not want it to be overshadowed by the new iphones.
9/9 for the launch of the A9...
I didn't know what it is and I checked it out and it looks real cool. However, my guess is that iTunes will make it to your TV, with obnoxious thin fonts and white backgrounds. Plex looks way too good. But I'd be glad to be wrong on this.1. Plex
2. Plex
3. Plex
Getting an official Plex client instead of continuing with a hack such as PlexConnect was the reason I got myself a Nexus Player when YouTube stopped working on my 2nd generation Apple TV. If the App Store comes to the Apple TV with Plex included, I'll be getting the new Apple TV without any hesitation unless they go absolutely bonkers with the European pricing.
