I have the S6 in space gray but I like the "more screen" of the S7, I'm just a bit disappointed with the colors... I can't understand what color is midnight, blue or black?

Is this the midnight blue or the stainless steel gray?

And this should be the midnight color?

When the time to upgrade came last year I went from a Series 5 Stainless Steel Space Black to the Series 6 Hermes Space Black. I was not interested in the Hermes Noir leather strap but in the Space Black case. I do not know if I am going to upgrade this year. But if I do, it will be the Hermes Space Black.

Sold my blue cell S6 in flawless condition for $350. Under the impression the S7 was going to be that of the leaks.
Now do I buy another for $399 or wait on S7?

I'm torn between Titanium and Stainless Steel. I'm into hiking and I want something fairly durable.

I got my first AW in gold aluminum last year. I'm glad there was a pinkish gold metal to choose from. This year's aluminum offering confuses me, I would not be happy with Starlight because it's not "gold" enough to match my warm skin tone.

Man I was really hoping ceramic would come back this year  I do like Starlight though, it almost looks like a 'warm' silver.

Yea I can’t understand what is the real midnight color 🤔 latest photo looks like the first (if it’s not the SS model), but in the latest turns out again blue!

also the green one looks nice if the green is a dark green but it’s hard to understand and Apple PR doesn’t help because there is no mention of the colors/model related.

My midnight silicone case arrives in a few days so will be interesting how that appears next to last years navy silicone case

I'm going for an Apple Watch 7 Red to replace my Apple Watch 4
Oh yeah! Same here. I skipped too many reds in phones (not the trim I wanted) or other accessories to not get the red S7 now. Upgrading from S4 rose gold ;)

problem is we have no clue when the 7’s are coming out. I guess it depends on how bad you need a watch? I’m hoping they are released in November

I’m in the same boat. I like the concept of sterling jewelry, and bought a few sterling bracelets, but silver just doesn’t look good on my skin tone, so I stick to rose and some yellow gold. Most of the time I think Apple‘s renders look better than the actual product. At this point the Starlight render isn’t remotely attractive to me, so I’m pretty sure I wouldn’t like it in real life. The rose gold aluminum isn’t a perfect color, but it’s the closest I can get to something pleasing. If I had to choose a 7 I’d probably go for blue. So sorry to see Apple drop the rose gold, I wonder if they’ll come to regret it.

So, not sure if this is the best thread for this, but I’m wondering if there will be some unannounced improvements to the series 7 for things like heart rate sampling times and GPS accuracy, as was the case with the 6. Apple often glosses over or doesn’t mention certain internal updates. I know I’d love to have better GPS accuracy and more frequent heart rate and HRV samplings.

I think there’s more to Series 7 that will be announced next month

I'm going to guess that we get the standard silver and space gray with the Nike edition Apple Watch only this year. If you'll notice, that is the one version Apple did not show in any promotional materials. I also find it hard to believe they would eliminate the original "standard" colors of silver and space gray aluminum.

I just know that I’m excited to order my first titanium Apple Watch this year and hoping it will be before thanksgiving!

I'm looking forward to getting my first SS Silver. I've always purchased AL up till this point so it will be a nice change.

I noticed that the new S7 design has the Digital Crown lower than the S6 if you look at a side profile of the watch. The top of the Digital Crown seems to align with the lowest part of the display.

I’m most likely sticking with my normal silver stainless steel, though I’m a little tempted to go for the titanium this time. I’m slightly concerned by how easy it is to scratch the titanium though. It’s easier to polish the steel if I choose to do so.

Those who’ve had titanium, what say you?

Owning both, I notice scratches way more on my SS than the NatTi. The SS is easier to polish but the titanium polishing pad from Amazon does the trick on the Titanium

I saw an article on 9to5Mac saying that Nike will come in Starlight and Midnight for the 7. The Apple promo render with the Nike Magic Ember sport band looks to me like it’s on a Starlight.

Comparing the few specs we have on AW7 vs. AW6, I can't see why anyone would go for AW7 especially considering the discounts AW6 will see post AW7 launch.

Right now I have 2 s5's (silver SS and white ceramic) and a SG s6 aluminum nike. I will be selling my s6 to my friend, and getting an Hermes SB SS s7. That will fill the hole for a black watch, as well as my craving for an Hermes version, and an s7.

Just curious, but why do you own three AW's out of which two are the same Series?

Looks like midnight for the Nike for sure.

I bet it’s because they like the different looks of different colors/materials. I can’t get myself to spend money on the same version for a different color, but some can.

Leather loop is discontinued if you don’t have one already.
So this made me sad when I read it but I went to the Apple Store today to try out a link instead, turns out they still had some loops in stock.

Bought one right there and then, got it on my S4 now and I’ll get an S7 with a Milanese loop so I’ve got a bit of choice.

😁😁
