Night stand doesn't stay on.. it shows time for few seconds and the display is again black. You can touch it and it will show time again but I wish it had option to show time as it shows on Motorola 360.

an always-on Night stand would have a serious impact on the oled screen as it would result in a "burn-in" effect.

While I like that you can pick a photo to be a wallpaper on your watch, I am disappointed that the Watch update doesn't include 3rd party watch faces.

Just noticed that there is a new animation when you double click the side button to bring up Apple Pay. The default card now flies in from the right side.

Overall working ok. Seeing some speed improvements. Other than that and the new faces, not seeing much. There is a bug with contacts. Pictures and names are not showing up.

Try Reset Sync Data
  • Go to the Apple Watch app on your iPhone
  • General
  • Reset
  • Reset Sync Data
You won't see anything happening after you click "reset sync data" just wait a few minutes and it will come back.

My contacts and calendars are empty! No events!! Do you see any events?
Found a fix. Try Reset Sync Data
  • Go to the Apple Watch app on your iPhone

I am getting contacts name as usual maybe a bug that's bothering you.

When they were demonstrating replying on the WeChat app, I thought I saw an icon that looked like a potential keyboard option...if true I wonder how they're going to implement that on the watch. I could be imagining things tho...

My battery was horrible today. I usually take the watch off at around 10pm with around 50% remaining. It just shut off before 7pm. After it charges up I'm going to restore it and re-pair it I think. Anyone else see this drastic a difference?

Found some new workout things:

- In the Activity app on the iPhone, when you select a running or walking workout, under pace, you can now see the completion time for each mile (splits).
- Slightly related to the Watch, in the Health app on the iPhone, you will now be able to see the minimum and maximum heartbeat range when you go into "Show Recorded Data" for Heartrate
- Force touching on any activity rings will now give you an option to view your Weekly summary, in addition to the old "Change Move Goal" option.
- Force touching on the current workout will now give you a new option to lock your Watch, in addition to the old "Pause" and "End" options.
- Activity reminder alerts now have "Ok" and "Mute" button instead of the old "Dismiss" button

And no, the asinine heartbeat behavior of v1.0.1 has unfortunately not changed. :<

Burn-in effect can be solved by randomly changing clock position on screen, like Nokia use to do on symbain phones.

Randomly changing clock positions looks really ugly though. I don't think Apple would ever use randomly changing clock positions, even if they sort of make it look nicer, just to prevent burn-in.

Also, here's a tip for anyone that really wants permanent on display while on Nightstand mode: put it on a massaging pillow ;) Any amount of movement that the Watch detects, it wakes up the display.

I actually tried this out yesterday night, because I don't have a nightstand and my desk is positioned sufficiently far away from my bed to be annoying. Only, I placed it on my bed (in the case) and let it charge there instead. So I just tap my bed if I want to check the time and the Watch surprisingly detects it. This obviously doesn't work too well if you sleep with someone else :)

Still, I found the Watch alarm to be way too quiet for it to wake up anyone that's not a very light sleeper.

I've noticed in Activity on the watch my distance has changed to km when it was in miles before and I can't seem to find anywhere which allows me to change it back to miles.

You can force touch when starting the walk/run/cycle workout to select between miles and kilometers ;)

You're not going to believe this I had tried that yesterday but still my activity rings when you swiped up would show my distance in km but today now when I've checked and everything has reset to 0 for a new day it's changed to miles hehehehe

Oops I spoke too soon. It's changed back to km

Actually there is no "burn-in effect" with Oleds. It looks like it but it is actually a deterioration of the oled pigments. So moving the position will only have an impact on the whole screen.

I took my watch off the charger at 0630 this am....left it upside down so it wouldn't turn on...and it's now past 10 and at 95%...I think the battery issue really is due to increased sensitivity on wrist raise...I've had the watch since the week it came out and the screen turning on all the time is the first thing I noticed with WatchOS 2...yesterday by this time it was at like 50%

Mine is horrible today. 33% left after 6 hours.

Multiple times today it has disconnected from my phone when they are side by side. And yet again it didn't notify me when I was getting a phone call. I hope they sent out beta 2 quick. :(

This thread is being ruined. Isn't there another thread where you can all talk about all the bugs in your beta OS? This is supposed to be about "All The Little Things", not "Oh, What A Surprise, My Beta Software Doesn't Work."

Hundert percent agree. Whoever came up with the idea to put these two threads together must have had not the brightest moment in his life.
