I too had trouble with the mickey face since beta released until just last night (Its 8:47 hahah!) he appears to have found his voice.

How?!?

My rat too is "mute"!
I'm italian, so i try to set language "English" and Regional format "United States"... but no luck until now!

Ok...after reset and everything else, still no talking rat!

Guess I'll just go back to talking to the dog. The main problem with that is whenever I ask him "Hey, what time is it?" He immediately runs to the kitchen and sits in front of the cookie jar until I give him a treat.

Not very productive but, fun to watch nonetheless. :D

Even when fiddling with those settings I still can't get mine to look like the screenshot... How can you get it to display the time on the top right and also the blue ring on the top left?

When I started an outdoor walk yesterday the time automatically showed up in the top right. I didn't get the blue ring in the top left though. It showed "Outdoor Walk" instead. It might be a bug.

Did you set a goal? It won't show if you're just doing an open workout with no distance goal.

Not sure if anyone has mentioned this yet, as its a little thing, but I noticed that two of the watch face (modular and X-Large) have a "multi-color" option now. It doesn't seem to do too much with the X-Large face, but it really stands out on the modular face (in a good way in my opinion).

Ah - That must be it. 90% of the time I just to an open workout. Thanks!

Modular already had a multicolor option in wOS2 (and earlier, maybe), but it must be new for the X-Large face.

Haha, shows how much I play with the watch faces then :) its so much easier now that you can edit them on the phone and push them to the watch.

Yes same here, I'm not sure how to make it look like the picture... :(

Yeah, good point.

I'm on wOS 2, and I have a situation where I have some Photo faces of my wife but I don't have the same photos synced to the watch (I had synced the photos, made the faces, then removed the photos; the faces remain, though).

Now I don't want to remove them, but I use other faces more often, so they occupy four spots in my face lineup and I can't rearrange them.

What about wOS 3? Can you (a) make Photos faces, remove the album from the watch, and still have the same faces? And (b) is it easy to rearrange them?

ahhh got it now! Thanks, but does anyone know what metric is the 3rd one down from the top is?

Quick question, they said on stage the Control Center on Apple Watch is "just like the iPhone", so can you invoke it by swiping up from the bottom from anywhere and within any app?

The Apple Watch running watchOS3 beta 1 did an incredible job of measuring my heart rate today while I golfed in the heat and humiditywo h. In the past, I have had good success with the heart rate monitoring, but when golfing, I always lost the heart rate 5-10 times and sometimes it took minutes to come back. It never bothered me, but when i looked, it would say 54 or "measuring" several times. In the end, I would have a decent report of my heart rate with several dips to 54. Whenever it said "measuring" I think I read that it will use the last known rate.

Anyway, with watchSO3 beta 1, I never lost my heart rate for the two hours that I golfed. It was 85 and humid and I must have checked the workout screen 100 times and it was always measuring my heart rate. I could tell it was spot on as well as I know how hot it was and as I walked and watched, it would climb and then back off when I was waiting to hit.

Two hours without one lost of the heart rate might be a good sign for those who have said the heart rate monitoring wasn't working for them.

Also, the workout app looks very nice with new fonts and colors - when I was up to 1:45 minutes, I noticed the seconds were being cutoff so I could see 1:45:3 and a missing number. :) Very impressed with the workout app layout and font and colors for heart rate.

Hope others have success with the heart rate monitoring.

On the X-Large face multicolor makes the complication use it's own color. Which is same behavior as on the Modular face.
