Totally isn't. That's a lie that was mostly pushed by leakers who didn't want to admit they were wrong and instead wanted to act like the S7 was thrown together last minute.it’s not just the same watch as the series 6.

Yeah but I assume it is coming before FridayAnyone else a bit annoyed they can’t see the specs or photos still besides the marketing that’s been out since the announcement (same as iPhone 13)?
Eh only a problem if the preorder begins without giving those details which it won’t.Hey! Get ready to preorder something we haven't revealed the tech specs or prices for!
The arrogance.
The display is 20% larger and has new watches faces with extra complications and more data displayed. The S7 chip is new and probably more energy efficient since it’s apparently the same speed as the S6. You also get faster charging. So no, it’s not just the same watch as the series 6.
Right but today is Monday, so it would be nice to have the info beforehand so folks can compare/contrast before ordering on Friday vs ordering blindly or ordering multiple and then just returning all but one once they had more time to think and digest vs missing out eg like the iPhone 13. Esp given the supply constraints. When the iPhone 13 preorder date was known, the specs were as well.Eh only a problem if the preorder begins without giving those details which it won’t.
I believe it is 8am.What time is preorder eastern time ?
You will be able to customize and save as a favorite before Friday.so no option to customize our watches or do a pre save before Friday?
That's different. If a feature disrupts your life or work that's why they can be turned off. My objection is to doing so purely for misunderstood battery concerns. So I personally prefer to be in control of when the AOD wakes up and goes into full power mode - especially when I’m with people I don’t want the watch face to change and be distracting - being in total control of that is an awesome feature for me and even without the battery gains prefer this behavior - especially with the AOD improvements of being able to tap a complication and it behaving the same as if you were in high power mode.
Is the blue model sierra blue or pacific blue like last year?
Good for you. As someone with a series 4 that now requires 3 charges a day to keep going through the day, it’s a much needed update. I have no use for Always On Display so hopefully there’s a slight improvement in that department.Definitely no interest for this. No new features. No faster chip. Worse battery. Sorry apple. There’s always next year.
Battery life use will be greatly enhanced with AoD off, provided you aren't using like GPS tracking for hours and hours a day etc.Good for you. Just checked my old ss3 - my daughter has it. 4 years old and battery health of 82%.What? My 3 could almost last 2 days, (ok let say 1.5 day)
I am in the same boat. S6 is perfectly fine. But new watch is a new watch. Lol.Me, sitting here, rationally thinking about it, I’m going to skip this generation since my S6 is just fine.
Now, come Friday when I’m acting irrational? Can’t make any promises I won’t pre-order.
