Anyone else a bit annoyed they can’t see the specs or photos still besides the marketing that’s been out since the announcement (same as iPhone 13)?
Me, sitting here, rationally thinking about it, I’m going to skip this generation since my S6 is just fine.

It would be nice if Apple showed what the price for the cellular 45mm for alu and ss is going to be.

Eh only a problem if the preorder begins without giving those details which it won’t.
Which means a hit on performance having a 20% larger screen. You can’t get brighter aod and larger screen without a hit to the same sized battery as well.
Basic rule is to never buy an Apple Watch in a year apple doesn’t even bother with the chip. Rebranding an s6 chip as s7 doesn’t count.

Right but today is Monday, so it would be nice to have the info beforehand so folks can compare/contrast before ordering on Friday vs ordering blindly or ordering multiple and then just returning all but one once they had more time to think and digest vs missing out eg like the iPhone 13. Esp given the supply constraints. When the iPhone 13 preorder date was known, the specs were as well.
it was annoying af to scroll through Apple Watch page vs the Hermes one (because at least they had stills on that if not the spec/pricing) and only have the colors to play with aluminum but not the stainless steel or titanium.
I guess it’s fine for me, I’ll just order multiple because it’s not like they don’t have a generous return policy and I have on a card alone a credit line 50k much less the one with unlimited via Amex charge.
That's different. If a feature disrupts your life or work that's why they can be turned off. My objection is to doing so purely for misunderstood battery concerns.
The "Blue" Apple Watch Series 7 looks darker than Sierra Blue, but lighter than last year's "Blue" Apple Watch Series 6.
I'm a first time Apple Watch buyer, and going to buy one for myself and my Mom. We're both trying to decide if we want "Blue" or "Midnight", and can't make up our minds. It seems like EVERY picture you see of the "Blue" Apple Watch Series 7 is a different shade of "Blue".
Good for you. As someone with a series 4 that now requires 3 charges a day to keep going through the day, it’s a much needed update. I have no use for Always On Display so hopefully there’s a slight improvement in that department.
Battery life use will be greatly enhanced with AoD off, provided you aren't using like GPS tracking for hours and hours a day etc.
Just checked my old ss3 - my daughter has it. 4 years old and battery health of 82%.
my two year old 5 has a battery health of 80%.
I’ve never got 2 days out of any of mine (always had the smaller size) but this regularly dies before bed. I have two apps on it now which defeats the object in part of having it at all.
Where are the configurations and pricing details? Are we supposed to decide when preorders open on Friday?
