I've seen absolutely zero in my town and in Toledo, OH (where I frequently am) asides from my own, and my buddy's 42mm Sport.

I STILL have cashiers at Meijer, McDonalds and Burger King go balls to the wall when I use my iPhone to pay for stuff. They nearly faint when I use my Apple Watch.

They are released today in my country now so hoping to start seeing them now. Only seen one in the wild so far other than my own. It's been very lonely :(.

ive literally seen one everyday since the launch here in silicon valley. i do work in tech tho, but even if i ignore the people at work, i see one daily in the real world in downtown mountain view/cupertino/sj area

Jeb Bush wears one. :D
Oh darn, then it's tainted forever! I better trash mine right away then... :p

These things launched today in my country. No 'proper' Apple Store where I live, but the main Apple retailer's store was fairly packed. Much more than I expected, today brought out all the geeks it seems. I had to queue for like half an hour just to buy one, and I'd made a pre-reservation.

First impressions: bought the 42mm Sport version (because it's expensive enough as it is) with the white strap, and this thing looks and feels SWEET. Not sure what planet the people who ragged on the aluminium Watch come from, but they're alien for sure, because the finish is absolutely flawless, and the weight is just right too. Enough to make the product feel solid, but not so much it becomes bulky. The elastomer strap is silky smooth to the touch, and very very supple, quite unlike any other synthetic strap I've ever held - or worn.

The OLED display works well enough in direct sunlight - it's not super bright exactly, but I can decipher text and such. The taptic vibrator definitely makes itself felt on high, but I notice it on low as well.

Setting the watch up was relatively painless, but left the Watch set to English language rather than mirroring the preset in my phone. Weird! Anyway, it's just one change away in the settings app on the iPhone, but one unneeded change it felt like. Maybe they'll fix someday... *shrug*

One con I noticed pretty quickly (and which I was ready for after having worn all those G-shocks in the past), but still made me cringe: you get sweaty wearing it. Very. Or well, I did anyway.

Second, bigger con: I wore that thing for a couple hours in public, around thousands of people, and nobody noticed my new Apple Watch and stopped me, asking about it!
(Yeah, that was sarcasm, by the way...)

I see them at work and I've seen them out and about.
Kind of surprised so many people haven't seen them in the wild.

Proximity to an Apple store probably makes a huge difference... especially because there are people like me who don't want to order one until we try on the 38mm vs the 42mm.

I have seen only one Apple Watch Sport 38mm (green band) on a coworker. I thought the aluminum sport looked nice enough, but I'm not a fan of the green band. Our nearest Apple store is just over an hour away, so I am planning to make the trip to try them on. We actually have about four Apple Stores within 1.5 hours drive, so I suspect we will see more Apple Watches around town before too long.

I'm planning to drive down some weekend coming up to try them on. The two closest stores to me currently have many options in stock. There is a part of me that wants to wait until the Fall weather starts to roll in. It's currently short-sleeve weather, which means I will get a lot of questions about the Apple Watch when I start wearing it. I don't mind talking gear, but I bet the Apple Watch questions get tiresome after awhile.

I live in LA and work in the Entertainment business. I've seen two Watches ... one in my gym, once; and the other on a guy on a plane who may or may not live in LA.

Considering LA and the entertainment business in general is on the cutting edge of new tech, and now that the delivery times on the Watch are down to a day for almost all models, I'm really stunned that I haven't seen more after almost 3 months (especially when LA had the only store in North America that actually sold them from day one). It suggests to me that there's a completely different demographic that's embracing the latest Apple product this time, and fashionable and trendy LA is not it.

Payed for my salad today at Whole Foods with my apple watch and apple pay.
Afterward walked around the store a bit and saw not one apple watch. :(

Why are they so elusive here in my neck of the woods???

I am quite surprised that so many people have not seen a lot in the wild, especially LA. I live in the middle of the country (Oklahoma) and see them all the time. Not counting the five people that have them at my work.

I've seen maybe 3 or 4 in the wild so far. Give it time; It will become a common occurrence soon enough. :D

So I guess people here should be happy about that since they found it so distasteful that celebrities were given Watches.

Stopped by the Tysons Corner Apple Store again today for about half an hour and witnessed at least two Sport models being purchased right in front of me.

Seen my first one at my vets office. A lady picking up her dogs had a sport I think with a 3rd party band

My friend is the only person I've seen wearing one, quite honestly. This is a small, country town though.
