"Tech companies backing the convention need to be "thinking hard about where they put their brand, and whether they want to align their brand with racism, hatred and misogyny," she told Politico"

The irony being Apple goes spread eagle for nations guilty of heinous human rights atrocities, dodges billions in taxes which hurts the poor, and is one the largest exploiters of slave labor in the tech industry...

Apparently Apple's commitment to diversity, inclusion, and respect for people ends when they don't like your politics... Good to know.... smh...

I guess Republicans should stop buying Apple products......

This ticks me off almost to the point I hope Apple falls from its Ivory tower.....

More social conditioning from the liberal left wing political agenda.

Why don't any conservatives have any socially influential technology empires and entertainment monopolies?

I guess they want to turn off half the world to buying their products.

The attempt at social brainwashing doesnt fool me and it strikes me as unprofessional from a tech company. They have lost a lot of my respect due to inappropriate political agendas.

They lost yours but they gained mine. Funny how that works.

or security from those groups that _consistently_ look to kill Americans (Radical Islamic Terrorists).
So what about the white, right wing terrorists that are doing the rounds at the moment? I'd like protection from them.

This is why they fear Trump. The Donald has an ax ready for Third World labor exploters like Apple. To Tim, this is just a strategic accounting move to save margins.

Why all the whining? This gives a perfect opportunity to The Donald to open his purse and cover the expenses of the RNC with his vast riches. Wait, what do I hear? He is not that rich after all, his bank account is the size of his hands and his ..., wherever!

You know this type of "attack" really should only come from someone with more money than Trump.

Otherwise you just come off as jelly.

... or be really disruptive and screw up the next Bilderburg, Gx or Bohemian Grove meeting.
As much as I like disruptive politicians, there's not much value in being disruptive if that's all you are. It's like making something new but not better, like Windows Vista. Trump is like Vista.

Also, why is it that people don't seem to understand the difference between legal and illegal immigration?
They do, but they just want to make others look bad.

Well said.

I mean it's not like Trump is being particularly clever with his so-called disruption. He's not exposing anyone's ideological weaknesses, not making fools of anyone's platform. He's just walking into a crowded room, and screaming insults and inanities at the top of his lungs.

"Hey, he got everyone to pay attention to him. He'd make a good leader."

Nothing terrifies the oligarchs more than the USA completely withdrawing from interventionist policies. The power of the elite absolutely requires USA military might. That in itself is a reason to support Trump.

Hillary is a proven war mongering interventionist, globalist. Last I checked the majority of the USA hates all 3 of those things.

I think a slight gut check would be good for Apple. It's good for most people and companies alike.

The one thing that most amazes me about you and yours, Tech, is how everything you say contradicts yourself.

The liberals were tricked by Obama, because he's as much of a warmonger as Bush was. Maybe even worse. Syria is proof of that. He's easily the most bloodthirsty president we've ever had. Trump will get us out of the Middle East.

Yet he's does nothing to combat ISIS in Syria. Obama is the weakest president we've ever had. Trump will stomp ISIS but good!

This is what happens when you base your political beliefs not on sound policy and decision making, but on trying to find ways to justify your dislike of the other political party.

I heard Trump say he likes Putin and thought maybe he'd be the long-awaited president who can make the USA coexist peacefully with distant countries we have no reason mess with. Then I saw his speech to the Israeli lobby. Nope...

Lol, ok.... sooooooo, Rupert Murdoch & FOX news... not powerful, eh? No empire, eh?
No offense, but your comments make you come off as a loon. They're clearly the opposite of the truth.

Attacking people who attack you is not interventionist.

We have no business being in Iraq, Syria and Libya which is what gave the world ISIS to begin with. You don't get to create a monster, then claim victory by trying to kill it.

And what is Obama doing in Yemen exactly besides propping up warlords and politicians?

General Electric hasn't owned NBC (or any of those related entities) since March of 2013 when Comcast bought GE out of the remainder, so no one gets their information from GE any more. Just FYI.

Ok thats one kind of.

90% of the information Americans get through the course of their day comes from these six companies. General Electric, News Corp., Disney, Viacom, Time Warner and CBS.

The brain works kind of like a computer. You give it inputs(information) and it take that information and gives you an ouput(thoughts & action). If you can control the information, you could theoretically control thought and action. Kinda a major theme in 1984 and Brave New World.

So. 90% of information that goes into our brains is controlled by 6 companies in this country, and the majority of executives and owners/founders of these companies are Jews. Of the twelve senior executives of the “Big Six” media corporations, nine are Jews. This is a numerical representation of 75%.

It should be illegal for Apple to donate money to any political party. Same goes for any business. They are not citizens. They have no right to buy political power.

The only reason Apple has been able to hoard billions is because of the GOP.
Then why didn't something change 7 years ago when the democrats had complete control over our government on every federal level?
