Ah, yes. The wish list...
• iPad mini with an A7 and retina display OR a full-sized iPad with an A7X. (64GB)
• iPhone 5s — Eventually I'll get my hands on one. Perhaps "sensorgate" will work itself out by then.
• MBP (probably retina)

Well, ok. It's a bit more than a wishlist. I am buying. Time to update all Apple hardware.

What you described as your experience is exactly what was meant by "on its last legs" and "crazy slow". :)

Haha, yeah okay. But I mean't it as, it's still fine for normal use (browsing, mail, music etc.) but if you're a more demanding user, who wants to play around with newer apps and play the latest games, then it's become slow. :p

Would love to see ac wireless on these as well since they aren't primarily a cellular device like the phones (which didn't get it).

It'll be interesting to see how Apple differentiates the two iPads.

It might just be a case of allowing users to choose based on needs.

A larger iPad even with the same resolution as an iPad mini, is better suited for some applications i.e. keyboard, DJ, drawing and presentations. And for people with poor eyesight like myself.

So the only difference between both iPads will be the size?

I hope this is true because I hate how they gave the Mini a less powerful processor.

Can't wait for Mavericks! I've been clinging to Snow Leopard for far too long, but am ready to finally make the jump.

Would love a MacPro if they can offer the base model closer to $2k, but it will probably start at $2.5k. I will probably settle for a new Mac Mini, I hope those are released soon too. A new 4k ACD would be a sweet surprise, but I am sure those will be priced way out of my budget.

Going to stick with my iPad 3 for another year, it still runs great.

My sister is dying for a new MacBook Pro. Hopefully they will release those soon. Silent update in November? I hope they bring back the 17" MBP!

No one gives a **** about the iPad toy.
Apple doesn't care about the computer anymore.

I beg to differ...even though Apple is selling millions of iPhones, iPads, and iPods....it's still a side project and not the main focus at Apple.

Apple is still a computer company, and they are still focused on innovating with the Macintosh and being the industry leaders in Personal Computing.

YEs - The iPhone is a SIDE PROJECT

and so is iOS for that matter. More like a pet project...a mobile OS...not their Main Deal which is Mac OS X

/endofstatement

Their main deal is iOS. I don't think you will find ANY evidence of your claim.

I think Apple will do three things:

1. Introduce non-retina mini with A6 starting at $299.

2. Introduce retina mini with A7X starting at $399.

3. Introduce iPad 5 with Touch ID and A7X for $499.

The retina iPad mini will not replace the current mini. I learnt my lesson with the 5C, Apple does NOT do cheap.

I think this is likely !

Discontinuing the iPad 2 of course

Apple is going for the kill on this redesign. Willow Glass next on the iWatch. :apple:

Agree on the 5C. Quite impressed with my wife's Green 5C. :apple:

It will have Touch ID. But due to this will be in VERY Constrained supply until
early 2014. :apple:

Or Touch ID will be only on the iPad 5 at least this time around. Next refresh in 2014 will give the Mini the Touch ID. My guess.

Just put the iPad 2 on Craigslist for $300. Let's do this! Release the Mini!!

Apple's supply chain is about to get hammered!

I mean, not that they're not already...
